This mass of Deception boosts spread and growth of the Deception further much like Corruption. These nodes feed and connect to the “nexus” which makes a hive mind like network that makes the entire connected network an entity of its own. The dark necromorphs that can be created and brother from large masses of Deception can heal when in physical contact of the area surrounding a node . The node can defend itself when necessary using its tentacles to lash out at enemies in addition to calling necromorphs to its aid. Destroying a node will push back the spread of Deception or at least slow it down, the only way to fully stop an outbreak of this form of Corruption is to kill the “Deception-Nexus”.
