I've been Mass Effect fangirling so much lately it's kinda sad; what with FFXIII already booting it out of the spot for the masses, but who cares.No, this is not a spite from someone who doesn't own a PS3. JRPGs are highly cliched and predictable anyway! *huffs
Honestly though, Mass Effect must be one of the best games I've ever played. If I mess up this semester, I'm going to wholeheartedly blame this bloody game.
Anyway, these are some hairstyles I wished they had included for the custom female Shepard. I find their options a little bit too limited and dull, but then again, that is perhaps because I have been a bit too spoiled by Squarenix's choices of illogical, gravity defying, unsuitable-for-combat hairdos.
The one on the left most is my Shepard's current hair, 2nd would be somewhat like mine, third is just random, and the last is based on Miranda Lawson's.
Yup, and like every other character of my choice, Shepard doesn't escape the red-head-green-eyed daeds stamp :]

I like the second one and the forth.. While the short one may be more practical, the long hair could always be tied in a ponytail... plus long red hair is pretty.

borderline the third one, even if it a game let not forgwt that Shepard is in the army and you can't have longer hair when you are a soldier

The reasons the hairstyles are limited/dull are because first, you don't have the PC version. Mods are wonderful. Second, military hair, dear. She was an Alliance marine and unfortunately, military grade hair cuts are bland. No hair below the collar, no bangs below the brows, can't hang in the face. I was in the military, I should know. I actually had one of those 'bland' FemShep hairstyles every day for eighteen months. Yes, I think the second game should have offered more variety, but they pretty much just touched up old models from the first game.
For the record, I think default FemShep is Epic!Win without mods. Same with default M!Shep.

Yep, I also wanted a little more precission with the choices available, and hairdos are indeed limited (maybe in the future those we wanted to see are shamefully outdated XD)... but hey, with some work I made a Shepard that looks a lot like me.

It would have been nice but the longer hair just isn't realistic for someone in the military, it would make sense that there are regulations, in a combat situation long hair is a potential problem, and Shepard has a tendency to end up in combat situations

From a purely asthetic point of view I would love it if there were more choices with hairdos, my MShep could really use a Mr. T mohawk

I agree. The customization in gerneral I feel is too limited, I've made seven femsheps and they all look like except for colouring... as much as I try. I'm a big JRPG and FSP and generally every game fangirl, its all good but my god- Mass Effect is a whole different ball game.
And I'd love to see one of my Sheps with Lightnings hair, so there.

late to the party but yes. I'm a bit disheartened that there's no short hair mods for ME2. Glad there's one for ME3 though
