Most of my original inspiration came from working with strangelet for Angels Fall First, and looking at how Homeworld 2 concept and texture artists did their work.
My current workflow is pretty lazy, as you can tell by how scribbly the drawing is up above. Translating it into a 'finished' quality mesh is something I'm trying to do here. Not sure I'm cut out for all this work. :u

Was actually thinking of making painted sections to denote 'high detail' 'rest area' 'medium detail' sections. But I decided to make it cancer instead.
