Biotek Bonesuits represent one of the greatest biological and technological marvels of engineering. The field of science known as Biomancy has created a hybrid of specially grown strain of organic life forms crossed with nano-material sciences. Biomancers shape these into a wearable suit. This suit, sometimes referred to incorrectly as a 'Parasite-suit', or simply a 'Bonesuit', is standard issue for members of the Exna fleet 'Purity'.

The most basic form of the Biotek Bonesuit provides basic ballistic protection from shrapnel and small caliber rounds (7.62x54R or  .458 Lott) while providing for a sealed environment in event of exposure to vacuum.
The muscle of the Biotek organism supplements its owners' own strength, allowing an exponential increase in strength and endurance. This is useful in both combat and non-combat situations.
The most revolutionary function of the Bonesuit is its ability to resuscitate its owner from nearly all wounds if given enough time. Doing so for 'fatal wounds' typically can take 34 cycles, with much less time for less significant wounds.

Because the Biotek Bonesuit is a living organism, it requires nutrient infusion at regular intervals to remain healthy and to ensure its functionality is unhindered.

Higher levels of Biotek suits are simply refereed to by numerical designation, from zero (pictured far left) to three (pictured far right). The Biotek organisms that make up higher level Bonesuits provide additional functionalities  to aid their owner. The major additional functions are listed as follows.

Level 0 - (SKIN) capabilities listed above

Level 1 - (EXO) Chromatic carapace to provide additional protection against impact and piercing damage to owner. Mag latch points for gear storage.

Level 2 - (EVA) Advanced optical organs. Additional layered chromatic carapace for enhanced protection. Type 1 gravity field generator and paired heat sinks, allowing the owner to modify her own local gravity field. Tentacles to aid in null-gravity maneuvering and manipulation of objects surrounding the user. Tentacles are coated in a molybdenum infused neurotoxin to aid in capture of organic targets.

Level 3  - (MBT) Hardened chromatic carapace to provide a nearly impenetrable protective surface. Type 2 gravity Biotek organ to provide manipulation of local space. Number of tentacles are increased.

Wow love the timeline, you did a very good job. ^u^
But how many factions are there? There're the Nazis, China, Soviets?, Japanese?, any others too?

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-26 19:06:34 +0000 UTC]

Those factions are only really present in 's work, which predates my work on this crossover universe insanity. Go check out his art, I would be but a fraction of the artist without his helpful nudging. He does commissions too, unlike me.

Warning: Textwall ahead. Your eyes may asplode. DÆ glasswerks is not responsible for any ocular related injuries.

Logosheet - Bright Future represents the current factions in my setting.

My universe is both apart and intertwined with his. The nuclear winter on the Earth at the splinter event (L5 nuclear exchange [mine]/Non nuclear-proliferation treaty [khal's]) caused all factions to merge in my setting, and the universes diverged. When the Milky Way was burned out of existance several centuries later, it got the factions that managed to make it off of Earth before the L5 incident. Bye Bye Nazis...we hardly knew you.

The factions in my own setting are a bit stranger. The Utopian governement was founded on the work of the Exna fleets, which were sent out to re-intergrate the scattered human colonies (and destroy any and all intelligent alien life in the universe). The acting branch of the universal government during the Golden Age is known as PsiComp. I'll be showing more of their stuff soon(ish).  PsiComp Controller | controller Za-stell | PsiComp Controllers | Sherodan Ath

The main thing you need to know I suppose is that the PsiComp is currently removing all knowledge of war/aggression from humanities mass-history, so the Exna fleets have been removed from the history books (and from reality). The Laughing Swarm, by virtue of a time-loose artifact (story MacGuffin) is the only remaining Exna fleet to be partially intact.
Exna Fleet 'Purity' was the first formed, and was composed of the most dangerous of criminals and scoundrels that could be conscripted/drafted at the start of the Dark War.

All in all, a setting full of insanity, death, and fun!

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-26 20:11:54 +0000 UTC]

Why hate on aliens, because humans are terrible examples of humans. And since ponies, wolves, dogs, and foxes ( and all other fkn overly sexualized animal in yiffdom) have already been annihilated with the death of Earth (and later...the entirety of the Milky Way galaxy), their aggression needed to be focused elsewhere. We humans are good at killing. This is the best way to not repeat the world wars/civil wars of our past on a grander scale.

This plan was actually enacted by one of the brilliant historical figures in the setting (Mossburg) who may or may not play a very vital role in the overall story.

There are some shining examples of self-sacrifice, but overall humanity is a blight on the universe. The realization of this fact is what causes the Laughing Swarm and various Metatek entities (human-made god-machine tek at the end of time) to go insane, and allows the Laughing Swarm to act as a force for redemption. - Metatek - Baryonic Mass Furnace | Metatek BMF City | Metatek Val | Metatek Kiska and friends Assorted Metatek entities

The Laughing Swarm can not save the alien life in the 'Bright Future' setting, (they were directly responsible for its genocide) but they can maybe prevent it from happening to all other realities. They just have to survive the final confrontation with PsiComp and their Metatek at the end of time.

Ahhh...I see that's perfect! I love these types of settings! End of time, Crazy A.Is, Humans being despicable, Life in the universe being wiped out, etc. I love these stuff, it kinda reminds me of the Blame! series (Which I suggest you to really read for inspirations) and my own universe/lore that I'm currently building. So know you've got a loyal fan, that awaits more of your awesome stuff! ^^

Now the last question, if life in the Milky Way has been wiped out completely (which may contains millions of different alien sophont races). What about the Magellanic clouds? It also may contain lots too, and lets not forget about Andromeda where probaly it may contain another bundle. Some of them might even be in god-state mode in terms of technology (World-builders or Transsentients), they decide to take a stroll to the Milkyway to know what's all the freaking commotion is about and they find out that some hairy-bipedal-hyper-aggressive species are making a mess and destroying innocent life.

So they might get really pissed off, and decide to punish humans by either extinguishing them in one blink or something worse than extinction like devolutionise them back to being animals or even more worse where they can use humans and turn them to domesticated slaves/pets without free sentience, genetically modified tools, building materials (if they use biotechnology) to even being livestock for food! So humans got all this on themselves for offending Alien-Allahs by trying to remake the universe, so these Allahs set forth to punish these infidel species.

I guess humans in your universe also might have no chance in a fight since they're still a young species (with only 9000 years experience), an alien species they could make contact with could be 100,000s years old or even millions with technology to manipulate gravitational forces, create AI with full sentience, fabricate super-dense materials, perform super-accurate interstellar navigation (travel across galaxies in hours), the ability to create life (even the ability to accelerate the evolution of intelligent life), the ability to create worlds and finally fully mastery of Neurophysics. When they encounter humanity, they'll just see them as animals heck a fly even that just needs to be squatted out before it causes annoyance so what will humans do in your verse if they encounter such threat? (☉▵☉)

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-26 22:18:00 +0000 UTC]

Additionally, there is the reason why I don't use the term AI in my fictions. The Biotek revolution has created true sentience. Either incorporated into hand held weapon systems, Biotek Hunters and Antibodies, or entire ships...the fact remains that these entities are wholly sentient, aside from their creation at the hands of humanity, there is nothing artificial about them.

AI is almost a derogatory term to call them, similiar to calling a Ford Model T a top of the line sports car, when you are capable of producing Hennessey Venom GTs.

---

Of course with sentience comes the potential of insanity...but lets ignore that for now.

O deer God, we beseech thee, grant our eyes immunity to textwall of tl;dr. Amen.

Heheh, you describe two things that can be summed up simply. Blame!;love it, adore it...I want to eat Tsutomu Nihei's brains and gain his skill.

Your hypothetical alien race; nice try, no good please insert 2 credits to start again.

The reason why that alien race you described wouldn't trouble humanity at this point, in more detail; Gravity control, humanity has it. Syden-Küsche made a breakthrough during the Dark War that revolutionized humanities control over gravity.
Crossing the galaxy in several hours, while not possible with 'slow' FTL Alcubierre-Mossburg drives (only xxxx times the speed of light after-all), the invention of the Mirror has allowed humanity to cheat time and space, even with the incomplete understanding of its nature.

The Mirror was created simultaneously when the Milky Way was burned by the Metatek Core, and during the conclusion of the Dark War, when the formula that expresses the Mirror was drafted. This incomplete formula is human kind's greatest achievement, a raw expression that can be considered a 'Unified Theory of Everything', and as the greatest humans minds in the universe work on perfecting it...the potential it unlocks leads to a terrifyingly beautiful reality.

Magellanic clouds are only where some of the sleeper ships ended up. Many were scattered further, and one of the goals of the Dark War was restore contact with all the scattered ships. Once the first Mirror Gates came online, the growth of humanity exploded beyond the local galactic neighborhood.
The entirety of the Andromeda IV galaxy is a black project region of PsiComp in their effort to reverse engineer their own time-loose Metatek relics.

Any sufficiently advanced alien race that could detect the disappearance of the entire Milky Way, would have their interest delayed due to several important reasons. Firstly, lightspeed delay means by the time they see it disappear, secondly, humankind would already have an Exna fleet knocking down their door (their sun or suns where appropriate).

By the mid 8000s, PsiComp finally starts understanding the Metatek relics and starts the closed time loop that will eventually result in the destruction of all time and space.

The few alien intelligences who 'survive' by 9460 have made their final escapes and have left this universe all together. Entities that have been called Gods have been consumed by Metatek harvester entities, their knowledge sent back in time in dormant shells to be re-interpreted by PsiComp, and their component energies converted into the Mirror, growing its potential energy, and bringing the total energy potential under humanities' control to immeasurable levels.

The proliferation of Metatek Baryonic Mass Furnaces throughout time and space is complete, they wait dormant, listening for the command to consume. The Metatek Cores lurks in the heart of galaxies, awaiting their chance to fulfill their Raison d'être and bring humanity unto godhead .

All that remains is to harvest the husk of the universe itself. The Mirror is all. Transcend the Mirror.

What part do the Laughing Swarm have to play in this entire grand Apocalypse? I guess you'll just have to stick around and find out with the rest of us.

Amen...my eyez hurt alrevy (T-T)

Wohooo...dayumm, I love it already so I give up. So no more aliens, just humans being....lonely feeding of the rotten universe. And speaking of humans what happened to their cultures? The dominant languages, traditions, ideals and even the religions! (If they even exist anymore), and also what about genetic diversity? Did they achieve mono-ethnicity? (~˘▾˘)~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-26 23:21:00 +0000 UTC]

Genetic diversity is a bit of a non-issue. As evident by the individuals in just this crew roster alone.

Background note; Americans, and the majority of Chinese citizens were killed during the L5 incident, but there were thousands of years before the second Apocalypse. Plenty of time to diversify further. The second event did pare humanity down a little bit (only the one Solar System [several hundred billion humans] makes it out of the galaxy)

The survivors of that exodus did have their own cultures and beliefs. Some reverting to hunter/gatherers, some praying to the towering Machinegod (their crashed sleeper ship), while others became fairly advanced culturally. It was not to last tho.

The original government (directed by Mossburg) realized the only way to survive in a suddenly extra-galactic civilization as a single people was to ensure everyone thought and acted as one. The wars of the  previous galaxy had died, along with religion and conflicting culture. The failures of humanity would never be repeated again. But this couldn't happen just by wishful thinking.

Thus the long Dark War, and the creation of the Exna fleets. Dispached initially to relink with the scattered remnants of humanity, the constant 'threat' of alien life became a strong issue for contention as well.

The religions are now mostly dead during the Golden Age (Why pray to gods, when you can and will supplant them with your own creations), and the 'center' of humanity is admit-ably fairly mono-cultural.
This is a deliberate effect of the enforced Utopian government. You can't repeat the mistakes of the past if there is now no knowledge of any other way.
There are still deviants, but they are being hunted down and re-educated by the PsiComp. And everyone knows better than to look for the small pieces of darkness when you are surrounded by ever-shining light. sta.sh/0dwqswsetch

So did any of traditional indigenous cultures survive? Like for example the oldest one like the Berbers? As for Religion, so that means that Abrahamic religions like Judaiasm, Christianty and Islam died out but where they continued as a some sort of tradition to honour their ancestors? And also what about Language, do they still speak English? Or did Arabic take over ? (º_º)\

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-27 00:28:29 +0000 UTC]

Cults to the old Gods are only really a thing amongst the splintered factions of humanity during the Dark War.

The primary faction that eventually unifies humanity has no religion. This was a deliberate decision by the utopian authority government. Religion leads to war, and questioning complete lack of historical records. Instead, what remains is a sort of variant of Buddhism, where positive actions for the good of the community is the highest goal one can strive for.

Cults do pop up from time to time, but are just as quickly removed.

There are two languages, one expressed through chemtags. detailed write up here-> comments.deviantart.com/1/5084…

I see...so they became sort of bees now, right? Communicating using pheromones and speaking of animals abilities the Bonesuits have abilities similar to that of Jellyfish, Starfish, Bees, Octopus and Horn Beetles. Why not also add other abilities:

  • Spiders (Fibroin webs that can be stronger than steel)
  • Hippopotamus (Blood sweat, to protect against dangerous EM-rays)
  • Mantis Shrimp (The perfect vision, where you can peak at all corners of spectrum)
  • Pistol Shrimp (Organic bubble sonic weapon)
  • Electric Eel (Organ that generates electricity)
  • Planarian (The Ultimate regeneration)
  • Reptiles (The Osteoderms)
  • Wood Frogs (The ability to cryo-preserve naturally using anti-freeze proteins)
  • Bombardier Beetle (Chemical weapon)
  • Bats and Cetaceans (Echolocation)
  • Plants (Photosynthesise)
What do you think? And also what about abilities outside the Bonesuit, do they exist? Like Psychic/ESPer abilities, by manipulating Dark energy around objects with brains through chips/implants (Telekinesis), the universe is mostly made out of Dark and Negative energy and with the current technology so why not? C:

And to improve your series I have list of animes and mangas that'll inspire you a lot and all have organic theme into it:
  • Parasyte (Has both anime and manga, but prefer the anime more since its more brutal)
  • Attack on Titan (You might heard of it, I guarantee its so awesome both in anime and manga)
  • Tokyo Ghoul (Has some awesome organic horror elements into it, both manga and anime is awesome but second season in the anime is an AU/PT)
  • Terra Formars (This awesome series is very awesomesauce in terms of scifi and organic combat by using animal kingdom powers, both manga and anime are equally good but the translation for the latest chapters take a lot of time)
  • Ajin (Awesome series, its about the government chasing immortal guys with super organo abilities. The anime isn't out yet but the Manga is still awesome though)

The listing of animals you gave was exactly the one I gave to an earlier question. Have you been peeking through my scraps? :> comments.deviantart.com/1/4769…

The problem with using a sound based communication or weapon like echolocation would be its complete uselessness in a vacuum. Bonesuit owners mostly operate in space. The abilities you describe would be much more useful in specifically ground-based Biotek entities.

Biotek gene blending in reverse order->
Plants-photosynthesis has too low energy density conversion for my purposes. Yes, its free energy...but so is the anti-matter reactors built into the majority of the combat grade abominations. Everyone else just gets fine on eating things (humans or nutrient paste)
Bats/Cetaceans-problems listed above for inclusion as Bonesuit abilities, but perfectly fine for ground based Biotek.
Wood Frogs - something similar is used as an injection to aid in low fatality rate cryosleep. Probably the first example of Biotek in my setting.
Reptiles - this is replaced by dermal armor, a nano-material science creation. some members of the laughing swarm have it, look at those that have panel lines carved into their skin.
Planarian - replaced by the starfish DNA. Could possibly be a hybrid of the two tho. The regenerative capabilities of Bioek is nasty.
Electric Eel - specific organs like this are good. Hadn't really considered the eel before, mostly jellyfish for their paralytic abilities.
Pistol Shrimp - same issue as with bats/cetaceans.
Mantis Shrimp - probably already included in the level 2 Bonesuit in its enhanced sensor capacity. I just didn't name a specific branch of animal DNA to source it from.
Hippopotamus - somewhat unnecessary for any Biotek that is energy-dense enough to manipulate gravity.
Spiders - Not used as a weapon Biotek, but instead used for organic material fabricators. The cloth and hulls of the Bright Future setting are specifically mentioned to be a 'silk-like substance' in various conversations I've had.

I was considering the addition of latent psychic abilities, but decided against it. Too many unintentional parallels would be drawn to Warhammer 40k. There are some strange prophetic effects that the Laughing Swarm navigators get after staring at the Mirror for extended periods of time, that could be possibly used to their advantage, but it's an edge case that I haven't defined the rules for yet.
I think for now, the supernatural side of things will be better suited for my other settings. Bright Future is all about the growth of technology, to a degree that some elements could be confused with magic (gravity manipulation/ Biotek engineering/the entire existence of the Mirror), but is still based on principles that have been played out in actual scientific achievements.
There is no free energy, no free gravity control, and several other sci-fi tropes just don't have their place in my setting. Specifically tropes in general that tip to the absurd side of animie-fication (got no better word, sorry) I try to avoid. If i can come up with a new concept, and then establish a sound reasoning why and how humanity achieved that specific element/concept/etc, all the better.

Anime list
Parasyte - read it, loved it
Attack on Titan - pretty good too. Some parallels to be drawn for regular human->Biotek battles. as in they'd be very one sided
Tokyo Ghoul - started watching it a while back, but i put it on hold. It didn't really draw me in, but i'll resume it on your recommendation

Terra Formars - heard of this one, but now I'll have to watch it.
Ajin - like wise, never seen this but will def check it out.

Yes of course you provided it, and I digged deeper into more links from teh other links \(^v^)/

  •   Plants- So how does the Bonesuit like eat Humans, does it jump on them like the Blob? XD
  •   Bats/Cetaceans- So how strong would the frequencies be, is it strong to splatter organic matter apart?
  •   Planarian - Man if it had the Planarian part, would it mean that the suit could split into more individuals?
  •   Electric Eel - The Electric eel comes as the number one organism, when it comes to handling electricity. That even some people would love to use its powers www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_loZZ…
  •   Pistol Shrimp - So does that mean that some suits have the Pistol Shrimp ability of shooting 4000⁰C sonic beam rays from crustacean claws or something?
  •   Mantis Shrimp - Well this creature has the number one eyesight in the planet, so probaly Biotek got the abilities from it, right?
  •   Spiders -So basically some bugs are raised for livestock purposes or something?

I see....but just in case (if you change your mind or something) For psychic abilities, I think you should something like the ToAruverse does, Where they create Espers on a curriculum program by giving them heavy education to make them smart along with drugs to enhance the brain to make necessary calculations for a certain ability.
toarumajutsunoindex.wikia.com/… (Take a stroll around)

About Animuu....

  • Parasyte - Have you watched the anime too? Its quite different in terms of style, etc
  • Attack on Titan - Oh I see,  what about the mashups will the super strength cause environmental destruction just like in AOT?
  • Tokyo Ghoul - I suggest reading the Manga though, but then anime after it.
  • Terra Formars - And this...is a total badass series. It has Politics, Mars, Animal Powers, Extreme gore and Even the Baki Syndrome. Watch the uncensored version if you ain't afraid then read the manga from where it left off XD
  • Ajin - This will probaly revolutionise your thinking probaly....
I have more to suggest:
  • Deadman Wonderland - I can't believe that I haven't suggested this earlier, this one Dae shows all types of ugliness when it comes to being a trapped in a prison and forced to use your organic powers in Death Match arenas. I suggest watching the Anime then reading the Manga later as it has an alt route.
  • Assassination Classroom - This series is very interesting and funny, its about this supper powered Cephalopod who destroys the moon then he wants humans to send school students to assassinate him while he teaches them at the same time in a class.
  • Toaruverse - Toaru Kakagu No Railgun and Toaru Majutsu No Index (Well this series is very addicting beware, its about this city where only students, teachers and scietists live in. And nearly all people people are Espers, and the top ones mess about in some underworld crap and get traumatised. Pretty heavy, it involves clones later)

Suit feeding is shown here -> fav.me/d7qen51
The Bonesuits do not eat humans...they might nibble on them, but they don't have the teeth to feed on full sized humans, instead eating smaller insects and assorted other life forms if given the ability to roam. Typically this is not allowed though, due to quirks that arise from non-Biotek/Human DNA consumption. You are what you eat. (yes, this goes for the humans too)

bat/dolphin echos would probably not be used as a weapon, but instead as a sensory apparatus for any liquid swimming Biotek. Shouting so loud / high frequency serves no purpose when you can use a silenced weapon like a VN-6 Bowrifle or PK-4 Needlepistol from longer range and guarantee a Biotek kill. Shattering carapaces will just cause dermal damage that is easily repaired.

planaria - run-away mutation and reproduction is one of the issues that early Biotek research labs faced. Because of the loss of life and station/planet/system that these issues presented, the ability of the Biotek to reproduce has been removed. Additional safety precautions, such as the implanted nano-reactors being constructed separately from the birth process ensure that these catastrophes can not happen again.
This is not to say there are no weapons that use something akin to reproduction to ensure maximum destruction. The Helcris seed is a Biotek organism that can be deployed from orbit in an offensive manner. I'll draw the effects of its growth pattern eventually. -> fav.me/d89xcb4

The suit abilities are not weaponized. Pistol shrimp - like functions are better replaced by a needlegun. Organic weapons are limited to claws and neurotoxins.

sta.sh/2ih8vh9h9gg that is not to say there are no exceptions to that statement. Biomancers do tend to make some nasty creations, the Kel'syr is an anti-mech Biotek, equipted with 2x VN-4 Magbows  and 2x PK-12 Flachette arrays. To note that the mouth contains a biological weapon, possibly neurotoxin based, but could easily be something more exotic.

DNA sequences from distributed Earth archives contain many animals, mantis shrimp most likely being one of them. Biotek engineering (Biomancy) just takes the best from each organism for the task at hand.

So awesome all interesting! Speaking of Biomancy, I have other questions:

1. Did Biotek manage to revive ancient DNA? (Example from Dinosaurs and before to Cambrian)
2. If yes above, did they revive any prehistoric creatures?
3. Did they uplift any intelligent species (Corvids, Parrots, Dolphins, Apes, Cephalopods) to sapiency to serve as servants/assistants?
4. Did they create human clones?
5. Did they upgrade human genetics by going over the sealing, creating in the process subspecies?
6. Did they revive the Neanderthals? (People today are so persistent on revving those guys because of guilt and they will in few years time)

1/6. No. Biomancy only really is part of the science initiative started by Mossburg. He was not born on Earth, nor did he ever have any interest in racial guilt.

2. By the time Biomancers master their art, its several thousand years after human kind has left Earth, and the Milky Way behind. The genetic libraries of the sleeper ships used for terraforming include flora and fauna of non-earth decent. Sorry, no dinosaurs (T-Rex and friends) but there are some very strange other creatures from the Tar-shenna system that have been incorporated into the genetic diversity.

3. No. All intelligent species are targets of extermination action. Animal intelligences are allowed to survive, but when the issue is in doubt, the species/planet is glassed. Instead, specialized Biotek entities are created for that role. (And as pets/soldiers/sex toys ...not necessarily all as one, but I am not one to judge)

4. No. Clones have no rights and are classified as a non-entity. Some splinter factions created clones during the long Dark War, but the Utopian authority hasn't in the past, and doesn't currently make clones. Biotek are technically cloned organisms, but you'll never confuse them for human (Untill the Biotek Aug craze takes off that is).

5. Yes. Human medical science owes a great deal to the breakthroughs brought out during the Dark War by Biomancers. But the human genetic classification has always remained stable. They are all human, just a bit 'more human' than you and I.

6. nope. Mossburg ain't got no time for that.

Ahhh...Okay I see XD So anything new coming up soon? And why did you ask me to join the PsiComp? Just curious ^v^

And the answer to that question is for you to wonder endlessly about (until I finish this image at least)

Wait a sec- could it be that..I know! \(≧▽≦)/
Anyways, I got more questions:
1. Did humans create space mega-structures like Dyson spheres, Ringworlds, etc?
2. Is mind uploading a very popular thing?
3. If yes above, are the uploaded a majority?
4. Is virtual reality common?
4. What types of cybernetic implants are there?
5. Is Postgenderism common, humans that are neither male or female but actually both?
6. Did Psicom achieve something similar to Matrioshka brains?
7. Do humans use Stellar engines?
8. What do humans actually eat and how do they create their food?
9. Who the hell is Mossburg?
10. Why is there less males?
11. What happens when Humanity achieves god-hood?
12. How many alien races are there that needs extermination?
13. And also what are their capabilities in terms of teachnology?
14. How do humans intercourse? Do they still go intercourse or use machines/tubes to grow babies?
15. Did any of the factions attempt to travel outside the universe into other universes?
16. Did they encounter extra-universe?

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-28 23:52:20 +0000 UTC]

1. possibly. its a big universe out there
2. no.
3. -
4. augmented reality, yes.
4(II). cybernetics are only really used during pre-exodus times. Biotek augmentations have less rejection.
5. no. genders are stable, if unbalanced.
6. yes. The entirety of the Andromeda IV galaxy's energy potential is utilized for 'black projects'.
7. no need to. Alcubierre-Mossburg drives mean instead of moving a star system, you just move yourself. Stellar engines are slow, A-M drives are not.
8. Planetary based humans eat a standard mix of foods. There is no sugar crops or hops, so beer doesn't exist, but other than that, it's pretty regular. Crew onboard interstellar vessels eat a concentrated nutrient paste. The components of which vary, and can include other captured humans. Biotek entities eats the same paste when not dormant.
9. That would be telling.
10. Terrorist attack prior to my timeline. Male embryos do not develop in the womb. But in the event of birth of twins (+), they can reach maturity.
11. game over man, game over. All of Time and Reality would be simultaneously destroyed, converted to the ever-shining Mirror, to be utilized by the new Gods as they see fit.
12. all of them.
13. varied, by the run-away technological and Biotek capacity growth of human kind, plus hacking of reality itself through the mastery of the Mirror means even the most advanced alien race doesn't last more than a century of direct conflict. When you're tossing projectiles (and ships/asteroids) at near-lightspeed or above, it makes one hell of a cheap kill without warning. A-M drives are capable of moving objects (xxxx) times the speed of light, and they don't even touch the speed possible by objects in the Mirror.
14. Sex.
15. Only the Laughing Swarm has left the standard universe behind, due to their time loose Mirror artifact. At this point in the story, humanity is somewhat stuck in loop, not quite able to destroy the universe, due to the missing Mirror artifact.
16. Yea, they've gone to the Warhammer 40k and World-of-Aiers Nebulosa Ots universe, but only with the smallest fraction of their forces. The majority are left in the original universe, or are hiding in the Mirror, which doesn't technically belong anywhere.

4. What is it used for?

4(II). So does anyone still like use them anymore?

6. I see, what other 'black projects' are there as well?

7. How does the A-M drives work? Does it work with the Mirror too?

8. Wait a sec- Did you just say that the interstellar guys are a bunch cannibals? What happened to human ethics? XD As for no beer, does that mean the culture of drinking Alcohol is lost forever or is there some other ingredients that can make you intoxicated?

10. So does that mean that females outclass males by a lot in numbers?

13. Wow...that's just overkill, what about confrontation battles both in space and ground?

15. Any ideas to get over this loop?

16. In World-of-Aiers  they were part of the Devart-Sector-War, right? So what did they do basically in the war? As for Warhammer 40k, did they help the imperium wipe out the Orks, Tau and Tyranids? Or the did they just consume all for the Mirror? And also are they planning to go to other extra-universes like Halo, Mass Effect, Dead Space or Killzone?

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-01-31 13:20:36 +0000 UTC]

Reversed, because why not.

16. Devart Sector war, siding with Goeliath's faction. Nothing really significant was accomplished (aside from the destruction of 3000 Kasparov and Klein Shine ships during the battle of Terra) (and the Starfall incident ) ..Mostly the Laughing Swarm is a force that strikes in the dark of space without leaving witnesses or distress signals.

Warhammer universe is something that's still being written by RecklessCharge . It's going to be up to them how they interact. The number of LS ships there is pretty minimal, 1-3 at most.

15. Yes.

13. If the risk is too high, just nuke the site from orbit. Or pop the planet/sun/system, depending on the era the conflict takes place in. Ground conflict is only really reserved for critical targets that you want captured.

10. 1:22 male:female, so yes. Societal roles are still fairly balanced tho. Males do everything that females do, aside from child birth.

8. Yup. Ethics are different. Vodka and other distilled substances are present, but it's a very different pallet from what anyone on Earth is used to.

7. A-M=Alcubierre-Mossburg. Variant on the Alcubierre and Alcubierre-Weiß drives of very early trans-luminal star travel. It uses 'standard' universal principles to move, being invented before the creation of the Mirror.

6. Classified. Please report to PsiComp Authority for evaluation.

4(II) Some people will always use older tech, either as a fashion, or ironically as hipsters do.

4. Mainly used for information overlay for immersive control schemes. Mechs, drones, aircraft and star-craft don't have windows, all information is relayed via sensor networks to the operator.

I love reversals, its like going on roller-coasters  \(^A^)/

16. Awesome, thinking of doing anymore crossovers again? ^^

15. So how do you get out?

13. So has PsiComp or Laughing Swarm engaged xenos in close quarters?

10. So does sexism still exist? XD

8. What about non-alcoholic drinks? Do Coke and Sodas still exist? c:

6. *Goes to the higher-ups and shows ID*

4(II) Ohh I see, and speaking of fashion how much did it change?

4. Oh I see, so what about video-output do they use this alongside it too?

Extra questions:
3. How tall have humans grown in the past 9000 years?
2. Any other autonomy evolutional changes? (e.g Smaller teeth, Hair loss, Less toes, etc)
1. What are the current situations that's happening right now?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daemoria In reply to Zarmarza [2015-02-03 03:49:18 +0000 UTC]

16. Sure if the crossover is interesting enough.

15. That is explained how in the large project I'm working on. No spoilers.

13. Typically no, unless the situation demanded it. Don't work hard, work smart. Use orbital strikes and Biotek shock troops, with no risk to your own crew and personnel. But even those edge cases crop up enough that they've all had hundreds of years worth of face to xeno combat, the universe is a large place.

10. Sure, we are human.

8. Probably not, those use sugar as a primary component, and Pepsi Corp was nuked with the rest of America and China. Plenty of other things to drink in the universe tho.

6.  *ID not recognized* [[]Report to security for verification[]]

4(II) Individual preference is the main determination of fashion. Here are some examples. dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/83…

4. Video screens are slightly holographic, with multiple layered projection surfaces. Have a look at he wall screens on the various Laughing Swarm Vessels.

3. Varies based on their origin of birth, gravity of homeworld has a large role in the growth pattern. But by the end of time, they get pretty big. sta.sh/0b4n7ct4uzs

2. Personal bio-modifications are the largest sources of changing humanities' looks. An unmodified human looks somewhat similar to you and me, just taller and with brighter eyes and smoother hair.

1. Drawing wise? I suppose you'd have to wait to find out. I have a full time job so my time is pretty limited, and I can only really get art done reliably on the weekends.

16. I'll make a crossover your verse with mine, when I buy a new tablet and get rid of priorities first if that's alright with you.

13.  "I smell cowardice"

8. What about hot drinks? People still drink coffee or something caffeine like?

4(II)  So basically they can customize their clothes, right?

4. Looks awesome, more safer than having primitive windows.

2. So basically unmodified humans look like this  , right?

1. Awesome, but what I meant is with all the factions in the lore XD

16. Sounds good. The more authors/artists contributing to this, the better the setting becomes.

13. no comment.

8.  Not really sure. Vegetable / fruiting body based drinks are still a thing, but I've done nothing specific for them.

4(II) correct.

2. Not...quite. Btw, is looking for a new singing partner.

1. Not entirely sure what you are asking here. Maybe best to take further questions to the dA notes system.
