I misunderstood the comic and had a long conversation with the artist about it. Looking back, I don't think I should have commented. Sometimes I do stupid things.
I pointed that out because it sounded like you thought I was one of those wildly delusional people who thinks being with a fictional character can either be canon or happen to her in real life.
Yaoi seems to me to be crossing lines. Making characters gay is not staying true to who they are, which is what I try to do in my writings and art. If someone made Yuki and Shuichi from Gravitation get girlfriends, a lot of the same Yaoi fangirls who make straight characters gay would cry foul.

So, I was talking nothing of your writings with the first/second comment(s). Just pointing out that Itachi isn't very affectionate, and I doubt would let a kiss fall upon his cheek, or anywhere else for that matter. I have nothing against you, or your love of Itachi, but I was "backing up" the artist/yaoi lovers/people who turn straight anime characters gay in their fanfics/comics.

I know he isn't. He wouldn't be likely to touch someone unless he knew her well and knew that she saw more in him than just his outer beauty. And he definitely would not be seen showing affection in public.

And how does ItaSasu make anymore sense? :\ I like shipping healthy relationships and KisaIta is as healthy as it's gonna get for Itachi. Yes, the pairing doesn't get as much fan service as ItaSasu but it makes more sense to me then any other Itachi pairing.
Maybe Kisame's a secret fan of it, maybe. But I just think that in my mind, he's an Uchiha fanboy in general. He respects and admires Itachi, is amused by Tobi's antics and even addresses Sasuke's name with a -kun at the end of it.
If you don't pair Kisame with Itachi then who do you pair our favorite shark nin with? I certainly hope you didn't make this comic to cover up the fact that you might not like Kisame and didn't wanted to be hated by the fandom for it.
And if you say that KisaIta is more popular then ItaSasu then I'm call bullshit. No offense. Because in deviantART, KisaIta has 1068 search results while ItaSasu has 2262.
Sorry that I'm being a bitch to you but I'm sick of KisaIta being bashed by ItaSasu fans. It gets tiring for us after a while. I just dislike Uchihacest because of the fandom and not because of the pairing itself.
