Taken in August 2016, through our bedroom window! Canon Rebel T3i, shutter speed priority 1/1600, ISO 1600 or 3200 (don't remember which, as it depended on the light at the time, and it was early morning), daylight setting, handheld (no tripod) - yep, that's my usual mode of operation for taking early morning photos of these babies! And NO, I did NOT photoshop that background! That happened due to having the lens zoomed in all the way, so the whole background blurred like that! We've had a fair number of hummers here at our house this year, and it's been wonderful watching them, and getting to photograph them....and having them eat out of a little feeder in our hands!!!
