Another commission for , this time featuring Kate and Humphrey from Alpha and Omega.ΒThis was a challenging one. The characters in that movie are heavily stylized and it took multiple attempts for me to get them to look like themselves. @_@ Hope y'all like it!

I don't quite think the animators studied anatomy for wolves either. They looked like greyhounds cross bred with donkeys and emo hair mutation.Β
You did the characters justice here though!Β

Allow me to correct you, but once the animators get the rigged model, they just make it move. They do reference how real wolves move, but there is little they can do about how the character/model is designed. Character design is done in pre-prodution, way before it ever retches the animators' hands. Sorry, am an animation student (2D, actually) and it bothers me a bit when people say "animators" in regards to things animators don't really have control of. I know you probably meant it as a blanket term, but "character designers", would have been more accurate.
