This guy's hair is a pain to shade and highlight. To highlight, actually. I went through the whole ova. There is not one bloody shot I can see of him with HIGHLIGHTS XD what's up with that? I think the makers noticed how hard he was to highlight and went all "To hell with it, Clef gets unhighlighted hair : D we pwn your souls" or something like that XDAnyhow, in case you didn't know, this is Clef, from the Rayearth OVA; cool character, even though after teleporting every human int he world to another dimension... he becomes useless in the ova, poor guy. or semi useless XD poor baby.

I love it! There's not enough Clef fanart on DA, but this almost makes up for it. ^^
I haven't seen the ova (yet), just read the manga and seen the series. But why does he look so totally different in the ova?

Because the ova follows an entirely diferent storyline. In the ova, Clef looks like an adult. It's pretty nice.

Awesome drawing! If I had to choose between OVA Clef and series Clef, I'd choose OVA Clef. He was so beautiful and hot in that OVA. I also like the fact he didn't look like some midget in the OVA.

So cool! I've never seen any anime episodes, only read the manga, so the coloring is different than what I expected, but it's cool! AND HE HAS BLUE EYES. blue eyes.

Yup XD well, that's the OVA clef, not the anime one ;3 but basicly the same colors hair and eye wise.... this clothes and robes are diferent in ova and anime thu ^^ but he's still cute.

Ok, just what is the difference between an OVA and an anime? They're both animations of the manga, although with differences from it, but I've never been able to figure out what makes them difference. The last time I asked, the person just sent me to a website with definitions that made things only more confusing...

*Blinks* the anime/manga and the OVA have nothing to do with eachother ^^ *smiles* THe OVA has a diferent story. It uses the same characters, but puts them in a completely diferent story.
For example;
Eagle is Emeraude's brother in the ova.
FERIO is Emeraude's brother in the anime/manga ^^
Stuff like that. The plot is diferent too :3. The ova takes place in the real world, while the manga/anime takes place in Cephiro. It's like.... an AU story, or the anime/manga. Makes sense?

Oh, I see. So the OVA is presented in the same way as anime (TV episodes, movies, etc.), has the same characters everything, but the story, plot, etc. is different... I get it now. I don't know why the first people I asked couldn't just say that...
