The Terrible Terror from "How to Train your Dragon". I'm going to be doing several pics, all the main dragon species.I started off with the Terror.
Man, I love these lil guys. I'd love to keep one of these! They're like the... chihuahuas of the dragon world, and have a freakin' temper. I love them xD
I made him look cheeky and sort of like he's plotting something because that's the impression I get from these guys; like they're naughty lil brats when they wanna. I bet Hiccup keeps a few under his bed :< and Toothless doesn't like it.

This is actually toothless' original design, well until they made him a night fury. The scene where Toothless has fish and a terrible terror tries to get one is meant to resemble two toothlesses fighting, that's why the terror in the scene resembles toothless from the book so much.

From what little I know from the books (which is admittedly little XDD), isn't book!Toothless meant to be aΒ Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus?Β

Ah yeah, well before the new book came out that's what he was believed to be, I have yet to finish that book and now I feel kind of sad you spoiled it for me... Oh well. XD

Terrible Terrors are adorabubble
There's a fanfiction somewhere where Luna Lovegood (Yes, the one from Harry Potter) gets one as a pet.Β
It is only a minor part of said story, but that mental image is the best thing ever.

i love the terrible terrors, they're just too cute! i have to say though i think they were designed after the Toothless in the books

Wanna know a fun fact about them? (I just finished book 3 of the books the movie is based off of.)
Apparently Toothless was this little guy in the books. In the books, they're called 'Common Brown or Garden'. No joke! I'm serious! Also, Toothless was the smallest and actually WAS toothless! Hence his name! I have yet to come across a Night fury in the books, but I HAVE seen Gronkles!
Can't find Astrid, but I think her roll was taken by Camikazi. She is one feisty Bog Burglar! lol
