So, I totally went to watch "How to train your Dragon" a few days ago and... wow, just wow. I admit I went into the movie with high expectations given whom directed it and mostly due to the Trailers I watched.Still, despite that, the movie managed to successfully blow me out of the water. Several times. Hell, I don't think there was a single part in the movie that I DIDN'T enjoy terribly. I loved the characters, their design, the story, everything about it.
I specially loved The night fury's (Toothless') design and the way they animated his body movements and wings, not to mention how expressive the creature without talking could be (major plus imho - had the dragons talked, it'd have taken away from the tale). I loved Hiccup and his relationship with the dragon; how he tamed it, etc. Just wow.
So yeah, Speed painting times! I'd been wanting to doodle something since watching the movie, but found no time, however, I finally sat down today and shoved this out in a couple of hours. Funny because I'm about to run off in an hour to rewatch the movie in 3D (yes it was totally worth a rewatch).

How to Train Your Dragon was totally a movie worth watching. One of the rare movies I'll ever consider watching over and over and over again until even my little brother is annoyed.

oh man, you think the same way as me. even though the dragons didn't speak, they felt so real and smart to think that they did speak. if they spoke, it would ruin it. I agree.... which makes me wanna ask, have you seen Wall-e?

I loved Wall-e too, but.... I think I like this one more. This one tugs at my heart strings more. Specially the end. Oh god, the end. I remember going "oh my gooood, they actually went there!" when he gets off the bed. ;;; I thought it was a great touch.

The 3D is the best out of all the 3D movies I've seen so far. I admit that if the movie had been longer than 1.5 hours, I don't think my brain would have been able to take it.
It was extremely well done. The movie came out around you... all the time - like not in certain parts. ALL of it.
