Or in other words; See? I've been doing stuff! I've been working! Honest to god!!These are just some of the pieces of art I've been working on/have finished lately. A couple are WIPs, obviously, the other four are finished, three of which were comissions, the other I did to amuse myself.
First up is a Numa I'm working on; needs a lot of work still, but I am having fun~~ It's Pan, from Guillermo del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth". Awesome movie btw, go watch it. Lovely music, haunting lullaby and fairy tale @_@ I'm spanish (I was born there and I live there) and I must say it's the ebst movie I've seen in a very long time. Anyhow I derail - It's pan Numafied. It's obviously my rendition so it's not exactly the same, thought it's heavily inspired by GdT's lovely film. "El laberinto del fauno" FTW!
Next up is... a random numa I'm making. Pouncing. It's a male, sorta Pirate-ish. Dunno what Imma do with him yet, but I will finish it XD
Next up, is a small circle with my Waja-character, Koi. He's a pirate waja 8D colored like a Koi fish. I lovers him.
Next to Koi is a lazy lil Lion; character is (c) To Baneful. It's the King of the Elephant graveyard pride in SoA :B the quote should go "Simba? Who the hell is that? /I/ am the /TRUE/ lion king. And I'm much prettier to boot" he's vain ;D anyhow
The last two were Waja comissions, they're just random characters XD I made them for some people over in that site.
And viola!! 8D ... I'll probably scrap this later. XD

Oooooh! I recognised the Pan right away! You did him wonderfully! Numas are soooo cute and the numa Pan is the cutest!

Btw, how did you like the ending of the movie. I cried. (spoilerspoilerspoiler) I found it shockingly happy, as i was sure it'd be sad.

I thought the endding of the movie was horribly touching and actualy really happy - the way I see it is, if you believe in the fantasy world, it's a happy endding, she's going away and if you don't believe in the fantasy world, then she's leaving happy, so it's okay.

Yeah! I absolutely agree! It was extremely touching, as when her step-father didn't see the Pan i for some time thought there'll be no fantasy for real, and it was there. T_T Wonderful movie

Do you use brushes to make those cute little circles when you color?

you mean like the stars inside the circles? It's a mixture, really. It's a sky, hand painted, ahdn airbrushed; burnt here and there, and the headlighted here and there to give it a night sky look, and then on top of that one star brush, with a biiiiit of a glow at times.
The flowers and the circle are hand done thu XD ... well not the circle - I did that with shapes :3

You works just make me go all mushy inside. The eyes realy get me I think, as well as the cute expressions you seem to be able to etch into each and everyone of your little drawings.

Coloring was ... mostly years of practice. I wish I had my 3 year old samples handy to show you XD Not pretty. Gaia online helped a lot (owning a pet shop there xDDD)
