Actually, it's more canon than you'd think! The Mewtwo in the Genesect movie is voiced by a female and .... seems to be female. Like, it's not a female trying to sound like boy, no no, it's a woman's voice coming out of her

Wow! I don't think I've seen a Pokemon movie since the one with Entei. So, the Mewtwo burned into my mind is the masculine sounding one from the very first Pokemon movie in 1999.

Honestly, when I think of mewtwo, I think of that one too xD But yeah, amusingly enough, there IS a female canon one! She mega evolves to Y form at will too, interestingly enough but yeah. There you go XD
