As the darkness grew around them, the fox girl closed her eyes, paws extending to allow a small glow to form between them, the light iluminating her features, making her look almost like a ghost, "They say one should not judge a book by it's cover; the cover... the outside of a person is just that... the outside," she spoke softly, yet her voice firm in its belief, "That outside is a sort of wall at times, surrounding the inside... and it's that inside what really counts; that's where the important feelings, sentations and truths are," pausing, her eyes opened barely, her mismatched depth looking at the light that seemed to swirl between her paws, "That inside sometimes keeps what we most treasure, what we most love, away from others than can steal it from use... and sometimes, that inside can hide what we most fear, what we're ashamed to show, so others never know."
