Tales games can get a bit boring but they're entertaining overall, my favorite is Tales of the Abyss, the first one I played.

I've only played 4 of the tales game and they are fun,
if you feel like trying one out, go with Tales of Symphonia, it has a great story and you would really like Lloyd and Colette.

Je sais que tu n'est pas une fan de Tales of,mais je te conseille d'essayer un jeu de ce intéressant série^^ Mais naturellement FF était,est et sera la meilleur série en absolu^^Je ne peux pas dire que je préféré Tales of à FF,mais j'adore aussi Tales of^^

Oh, lol! That makes sense. It took me a while to try other things than Final Fantasy as well (aside from Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross).
It wouldn't hurt to give them a trial play and if you don't like it, then simply don't continue them. Maybe find someone who has a copy of the game you can borrow so you won't waste money buying it if you wind up not liking it.
