:Trash-Muffin: did this as the other character in a Pathfinder game, an NPC named Roy. He's the party's wizard, and yes, he's a flying cat. Revend's a weird place like that. SO. Roy's from a race of intelligent cats that fly and latch on to partners, changing from Pink (good), through Rose (Neutral) and Purple (Evil), and Solid (Lawful), Tabby (Neutral), to Mottled (Chaotic). 99% are wizards, with 1% becoming bards or assassins depending on the good or evil of their partner. As you can see, Roy, who outlived his partner (not a surprise because they're ageless) is Neutral in all regards and hangs out as support for his team. Interestingly the race of cats was created by :TheTrevor: for his Revend campaign world AS a PC, with his wizard Stellaris DeMaxis going insane on being the only one to survive a campaign ending with him getting millions of gold and spending the bulk of it on... creating sentient flying magically potent cats. Never accuse him of being unoriginal, hee! And yes.... in that world you can go to Stellaris' tower and get your own flying magic cat buddy. Sometimes several. But be warned, they're still cats (Roy hangs with the party out of sheer boredom and sometimes refuses to get involved in a fight!).
