Seeing the works of Jim Lee here on DevART truly inspires someone like me who grew up studying his style. I've read somewhere that Frank Miller is a major inspiration to him as is shown by his style in Deathblow.I am feeling a bit gloomy for some reason, so I took a shot of myself with a camera, imported it to Photoshop and did a quick Sin City approach to the picture. An over-inking (as opposed to overpainting), if you will, on my self-portrait.

I'm actually trying to find a medium between Miller and '100 bullets'. It's for a character drawing I'm doing with a british ex-soldier. ANy helpful pointers to maybe aid the process, so I don't entirely botch up everything? I've been trying to figure out the mechanics behind Miller's style for years to help enhance my own stuff. What exactly does he do to his stuff to get it like that?
Also. Amazing style. Like a cleaner cut version of 'The Crow'.
