I'd been meaning to do some fanart, but was thinking who to draw.
When I was a small kid, the first character I've ever drawn was Superman, I decided to draw his cousin, Kara Zor-El. This is a simple pencilled drawing that took a few minutes, scanned and roughly colored in Photoshop. The whole thing took about two hours to finish.
Hair was based on the previous version while her suit is based on the animated version. The jacket is inspired by the Superboy (Kon-El) in Reign of Supermen.

i must say i always prefered this white t-shirt combo from the animated... seems a lil cheap and also didnt look as good in her generic supergirl suit

Peter David's run of Supergirl also put her into this outfit after the Matrix SG was sperated from Linda Danvers (with Ed benes doing pencils) .

Oh yes, amazing art. Love the jacket idea, instead of the stupid cape. Wish that her cousin Kal (Clark) would consider wearing one as well. BTW, could you draw Superman with a red jacket and diffrent costume as well?
