Its not just the fact that its a beer can... Look at what it entails.... What does it say about society... That along with the culture built around it... If you've been to a large University then just about any student can look at this and explore those ideas... That fact that you are wiling to dismiss this because the iamge isn't appealing to you, look past the image next time... Theres more there.

of course its art because art is in the eye of the beholder so anything can be art it doesn't matter what the subject is or even lack of subject in certain cases
