Done for ImagineFX Hand Painting workshop. You can find it in Issue 16 (I also made the cover for that one)
My goal was to create a bold mood without adding too much unnecessary detail.
Painted in Photoshop with some help from Painter. Refs for the pendant and marble (you can see it as a custom brush used for the face marks); light and anatomy studies for the character.
Linen done with a custom made brush consisting of a few lines.

It's such a dark creepy tone. I love how the face is shaded so we can't see the eyes. Makes everything else seem so detached, like one of the old oracles in Rome or Greece would probably be like (to me at least). Love the mystery attached to the piece. Nice work!

My favourite photo I believe. Even if the scene(stage) is expressed with "sad" colors, I always found her attractive, bright. Difficult to express.

This was painted? Wow! Great work! I hardly believed it upon seeing the colors on her fingernails and her skin tone, too! Wow! Very good with the tiny details especially the lines in the skin!
