Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

very nice, but i think that there is something wrong with her right eyebrow. maybe its too big or something? i think you wanted paint it a little lifted -- i dont know if it is a good word for it, forgive me my english

Oh my GOD, I love this... everything... the elongated digits, the expression on the face, the glowing eyes...! However, I feel that the wings are a little indistinct and would look better if touched up, or detailed a little bit.... oh how I hate telling artists how to work their art.... sorry.

I really, really like this piece Marta. You've used one of my favorite palletes, you've nailed the graphic elements, her pose is loaded with attitude, and I really appreciate the detailing and textures; you've really pushed your envelope on this. My only concern, and I checked your wip post to check, is that the left and right sides of her face don't quite appear to be the same size; perhaps only because her right eye seems a bit larger than her left.

I do like the archway much better than the bricks... I also like the lines for the cathedral glass. Only question that doesn't make sense to me... Is she inside or outside? And where is the light coming from? Did you use anybody as a reference photo? The face looks kind of like yours from your devID.

That is absolutely amazing.. your work is incredible. YOu have such talent. I ove the background, and her pose is awesome. I kinda think of the pose as "dont mess with me or ill kick your butt kinda thing."

absolutely stunning. You have done a fantastic effort with creating ambient light, it traces the feathers beautifuly! Also, the sinister yet flirtatious expression, completely hides the fact that this being could easily kill it's prey. I look forawd to seeing more of you work.

I agree that the coloring and the artistry and effort put into this work is simply elegant (and I'm not one to talk I know however) I'm going to have to disagree on the fingers and toes. They look great, but there's just something not right about them. Again I know I'm not the greatest but there's just something wrong with the fingers and toes that draws away from this piece.
