Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

wow. thats hella cool. great facial expression, the only thing that looks weird is that her index finger on her left hand is her longest finger, and the lower legs seem a bit....thick? also the turning egde on her left leg looks a bit sharp.
but of course great job, i dont know how u guys use photoshop so well

As always, sensual, beautiful...and in this case, somewhat disconcerting. I've always wondered what would it would feel like to be looked at like meat, the way women always complain men look at them.

She is lovely, but the area around her fingers and toes looks a bit ad hoc and unfinished. Shading on her legs is a bit weird. She also has a weird dark shadow near her right eye.
Lovely pose though. I like her dress and the colour scheme for this is brilliant. The background has wonderful detail. The light coming from behind the glass is lovely.

Is she taunting me or is she seducing me? Hmmm... Your work is hot, although I was a bit 'creeped-out' by her freakishly long and possibly lethal nails! The subject still looks awesome despite the whole wicked / fallen angel look on her.

This is actually tremendously lovely. I have a question, though. In your opinion, what are the different effects only Painter or only Photoshop give? Because I noticed in the description that you used both, so I am just curious, and interested in learning more about the differences in the two.

Well, I prefer Photoshop for it's double view (you can open two views at once) and you can for example shade the face while looking how it chanegs the general view of the piece. I really like to apply colors with Photoshop, too.
Painter however, is a great software for blending colors. Therefore I sometimes switch from Photoshop to Painter constantly when shading (applying nd blending and applying etc)
