I wanted to do that iconic shot of Godzilla firing his atomic breath into the sky from Godzilla King of the Monsters 2019, but with a Showa spin!ΒThis is also a little tribute to my man, Haruo Nakajima. I miss him dearly, and I feel like he'd enjoy this Godzilla film, even though he's the best

Gotta second the sentiment that it's really cool you put the curve on his breath like in DAM! It was a weird quirk in that movie but referencing it here is a nice touch that goes a long way in selling the viewer on that retro feel.

Looks pretty cool. I like how you did the water and the light effect as it plays on the surface. The way that you stylized the Godzilla form and his breath sort of reminds me of the Destroy All Monsters version of the monster. In that movie his breath just sort of curves all the time before it hits it's target. Its....strange haha.
