I had a weird thought the other day: what would it look like if I fused my favourite anime (well, one of) (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) and FiM ponies together?
This is what it would look like, apparently. I'm planning on doing a series of these with all mane 6 in certain parts of Higurashi's opening.
This is my first Rarity. FINALLY I HAVE DRAWN RARITY. I hate drawing her hair uggghhh

I love this so much. Though Rika's M.P.D. resembles more to Fluttershy. (Hell, I'd LOVE to see Fluttershy beating up somepony with a chair. <3)

Mion-Rarity,simply for 3 reasons, Her attitude when "it's on" & the Chinese swimsuit, forces Dash/ Applejack into frufru(sp?) outfits through punishment games.
Shion- Fluttershy, a meek, doesnt like rejection,
Rena- Pinkie Pie, nutty cute, and only one i see digging through a mound of treasure
Rika- Twilight, Focal point,
Satoko- Applebloom, Youner sibling
Satoshi- Applejack, over protective of younger sibling
Hanyuu- Spike since the begining spike has been connected to Twilight
Miss Takano- Trixie/Gilda

This is what I have gotten so far in personality comparisons
Shion= Fluttershy
Rena= Pinkie Pie
Keiichi= Rainbow Dash
I honestly have no idea who would be rika, hanyuu, satoka, mion, or satoshi

I suppose Twilight could be Rika. Doesn't make much sense for the first season of Higurashi, but Rika is shown to be smarter and more mature in the second season.
And I thought Dash would be Mion (honestly I forgot about Keiichi and Satoshi), though I suppose Applejack could be too, and then maybe Dash would be Satoko... I don't know.

It looks great. The shading on the coat looks nice and so does the mane.
Also, I'm in that same boat with you...I've yet to draw Rarity because her mane and tail.
