I know this an old posting but I just saw it for the first time. I think it's pretty good however I think the microns are too harsh. I think just a darker pencil line would have been better.
But still overall very good.

it happens sometimes. i think she would make a good supergirl but she is too skinny to be supergirl. maybe they could just use her face and digitally edited the body. lol

did a picture of sarah at school for my Grid-method Portrait.

You draw a grid of like 1/2 inch to 1 inch squares over your reference, than draw the same size squarea or 2 inch squares (should you want to enlarge), then letter each row and number each column then draw each of the squares to create the picture. istead of concentrating on the whole picture you are working on an individual square one at a time til you finish the whole field. Then erase the grid and finish up with shading and what not.

It works, I'v doe many a portrait that way, in order to get them absolutly perfect. Especially when it's someone I know, I am usually extra critical of myself on people I know.

She came out wonderful. Beautiful work on her windswept hair and costume. The shading and realistic detail came out well done!
