Yes and no. I meant the series bringing them to a point of power that ki attacks are useless and it's all about physical attacks. So it's what jiren was looking for. Power beyond strength. And it change the way fighting using super completely

If he wanted a stronger opponent he have the Angel's and others, money he doesn't care for Goku is made to be more one dimensional than anyone in the series. For some reason in super they made it where Goku really didn't get a single win mainly with the black saga. They made everyone die even the already dead beings a entire timeline was erased.
