1.What initial problem? Z Broli was perfect, that's why he's one of my 7 fav characters, Super Broli is meh and i agree with . It's becuase of the later movies is that Broli became a mindless creature who can only say "kakarot" and "hahahaha", if Broli life ended at movie 8 then it would be perfect, if that's what you meant

No, Broly had the most moronic motivation ever. Goku cried too much as a baby. Sure he looked cool and his powers were badass, but the source of said anger should be at Vegeta for King Vegeta trying to stab him as a baby.

It wasn't Broly's "decision" to hate Goku/Kakarot (you don't need to say "and later Goku" because they're literally the same person). Second, Broly WAS the villain of DBS Broly, it wasn't until the end of the movie did they become "friends". Even then, at best they're sparring partners. Next point, he wasn't afraid of anyone. He KNEW he had enough power to murder by the galaxy, but it's because of his love for his father that he didn't want to fight because he would lose control and kill everyone. In addition to all that, he went from at least two decades of near isolation with his only company being his father, who used electroshock therapy to keep him in control of his power and absolutely terrified him, to almost constantly around dozens of people. Lastly, they can be. Otherwise, SSG wouldn't be a thing. Rare it may be but Saiyans can be nice.

You're clearly not getting my point. No character is perfect and just because they're one of your top "7" favorites doesn't mean anything other than you like the character. Broly was a mindless beast whenever he wasn't under mind control, which you've expressed that he had only "become" until the big fight of the movie against Broly. And all his hate and rage was directed at Goku. When it was King Vegeta who tried to stab him and kill him. OG Broly has more reason to hate Prince Vegeta than anyone and yet he still hates Goku because he cried a lot.

In DBS Broly, he was exceedingly powerful, causing King Vegeta to exile him as a toddler. Paragus chased him and then found him on Vampa, trained him from a young age and used electroshock therapy to keep Broly "passive" all to use him as revenge against Vegeta (in this case the prince as the king was dead). Broly was the one who had to fight Goku and Vegeta for Paragus to enact his revenge, where Broly loses control and starts to go berzerk. The fight shows him slowly descending into madness as he tries to kill Goku and Vegeta, which in the end doesn't work. Broly is given his freedom of choice at the end when they wish him back to Vampa to save his life.

Do you not see how, narratively, the DBS version of Broly makes far more sense than Movie 8 Broly?
