My friend Joey says you can battle Johto Gym Leaders in FR/ LG but he says you have to do something with the tanoby ruins and stuff and I really don't understand him. x_x But, yes. It sucks.
Morty's my absolute favourite gym leader ever. =/ And since Crystal and stuff were for the Gameboy Colour, the graphics weren't all that great.

Yes, GSC have many original ideas an functions in Pokemon series.
If it could be remade, the story would be more interesting.
(For example, we can battle with Lance...XD)
