"Hmph. What a pain," I muttered, leaning back against a light post. A frosty bottle of soda cupped in my hands, I couldn't resist the temptation to glare in the general direction of the nearby café. I stood up, glancing to the side as I eyed the reflection in a nearby window. Long black hair reached down to my hips, the tips and my bangs a bright blue.

"There's no one to play with…" I murmured, frowning as I stomped down the street. Loud cracks emanated from under my sneakers as buildings seemed to fly past me. "There's no fun to be had on this side of town…" I continued walking, downing the rest of the soda in a big gulp before I crushed the bottle, wringing it out and throwing it to a nearby trash can. "Hayate's working, Hiro's no fun when he's emo, my pet Niiko is studying, Gale's working on a project and Marcal's with Gale."

I hissed loudly, a long tail stiffening dangerously as I kicked a nearby pole. "DAMN IT!"

I hopped on one foot, holding the other as I whimpered, my already sour mood worsening dangerously. I sat down heavily in what looked like a bench, leaning back as I looked to the sky with a sigh. "What now…"

"What are you doing sitting on my house!" I heard someone shout, coming from somewhere by my feet. "Get off, get off ! You're gonna crush it with your big butt!"

"Huh?" I wondered, my musings interrupted as I leaned forward, looking down at the bench- "Oh wait, this is a house..." I rubbed my butt on it curiously, wondering just when I'd gotten to this side of town when it groaned loudly, starting to crack under the pressure.

"Quick, get off! You're gonna-" but unfortunately the voice came too late as I fell down through it, flattening it amid a chorus of splintering wood and flattening steel.

"Ow ow ow… my butt hurts…" I muttered, wincing as I rubbed my behind.

"Hey, why did you crush my house you bitch???" I heard the voice shout, immediately feeling a surge of anger rush though my body as I glared at the yeller. I noticed blond hair and a pair of cat ears and a tail before I slapped my hand down on the person, feeling her flatten slightly before I picked her up.

"Shut up, just be grateful you're still alive!" I growled, frowning as I glared at the girl.

"You just destroyed my house!! I had all my stuff in there! How could you, you fiend!?" she shouted at me, growling before she bit my thumb.

"OW!" I yelped, grabbing her in my free hand as I shook my other, glaring. I had my thumb and forefinger clamped tight on her head, preventing her from moving it despite how much she writhed and struggled. "I don't appreciate getting bitten!"

"You destroyed my house!! How do you think I feel about that!?" she shouted at me, her claws tight against her thighs, thanks to my massive fingers. I frowned, growling low in my throat as I lifted her up, keeping a tight grip as she tried to bite at my fingers again.

"You look like a moron doing that," I pointed out to her as I stood up, brushing the stuck wood from my rump. "Who are you?"

"Come on, let me go you big fat meanie!" she shouted at me. I thought I heard a faint tremble in her voice, but I really wasn't sure.

I felt my tummy grumble and smirked slightly, licking my lips slowly as I gave her another squeeze. "If you won't tell me your name, I guess I'll just have a snack then…"

"No! I-I'm Twixy!" she stammered, eyes flashing from side to side, just barely visible to me.

"Twixy…? You're a friend of Hayate's, aren't you!" I asked her, my fangs gleaming as I smiled even wider. "That's good…"
