I sighed, scratching at my forehead as I stare into the still, quiet lake before me. Long silver hair reached down to my shoulders on all sides, my bangs seemingly propped up through will alone as they stood. I carried a backpack slung over my shoulder as I looked away, walking through town again as I checked my phone for her address. "XXXX Will Ferrell Drive…" I looked around as I stared down the streets. "Who the hell names a street after a celebrity?"

I sighed, scratching my head as I take off, walking down the gravel road to the north as I close an eye. "Let's see, let's see… there."

I nodded, looking up the brick wall as I knocked on the oak door, smiling wide. "Hey Twixy! Ya said I could live with ya?" I asked, smiling as I stared up at the slightly taller neko.

"Hayate! It's you! Come on in!" I heard her say with a giggle, grabbing my wrist and running into the house as she smiled. "I've been waiting for you!"

"Oh, I know Twixy, I know…" I muttered, holding back a sneer as she excused herself, directing me to sit on the couch. Rather then obey her though, I followed her with a silent smirk as she walked into her basement, fiddling with a… remote? I'm not SURE what the remote was for, but I shrugged, snapping my hand out to grab it as she turned to face me with a surprised gasp.

"Hayate!! What are you doing here!?" She stammered, her face flush with shock and anger. "I told you to sit on the couch!" She growled, baring her claws at me.

"Hey, I wanna watch TV!" I said, smiling as I fiddled with the dials as Twixy neared me, growling low in her throat.

"GIVE IT BACK!" She roared, jumping; I pointed the remote at her, pushing a button. A thin, bright white flash of light struck her in the forehead, and I found myself gasping in shock as she seemed to literally fade away into nothingness…

And then I felt something small crash into my chest. I jumped in surprise as I reached a hand up, grabbing at the thing… a tiny Twixy! "You… shrunk?"
