I whimpered slightly, glancing to the side as I ran down a side path, Twixy close on my heels. A swipe of her claws scattered several hairs from the back of my neck. I rolled forward, diving under another swipe; Twixy's careless claw cut loose a rope I'd set up, dropping a bucket of water onto her head. She coughed and sputtered, growling as she pulled the bucket off. "Hayate! I swear I am going to kill you when I get my hands on you!!!" I yelped, turning and dashing away even faster then before. I glanced around wildly, looking for another trap that I'd set.

'Damn, this girl just can't take a joke!" I thought to myself. I leaped up, kicking off the locker as Twixy tried to grab me. I bounced off her head, rolling towards my locker, hitting the combination rapidly with Twixy's roaring echoing behind me. I grabbed a skate board, taking a few steps away before throwing it. Twixy's foot came down on it hard, the force of my throw dragging her along with it as it careened down the hall. Twixy tried to balance from her new velocity, no doubt growling as she did so. I turned to walk away, hearing a loud crash as the skate board flew off the stairs, Twixy most likely being sent into a trough of still more water I'd thoughtfully set up outside. I put my hands in my pockets, walking over to stare down at her. "So, ya calmed down yet, Twi-" I meeped, frozen stock still as I gazed at her. Her expression spoke of unbridled rage as she stood up, ever so slowly from the trough. Her expression seemed to promise me a slow, painful death as she stepped out of it, advancing on me with a measured pace.

"T-T-Twixy, you do realize I'm just messin witcha, right?" I stammered, edging away just as slowly as she was advancing.

"Oh, really? I'll be SURE to remember that hun...when you're begging for your life at my mercy..." I shuddered, her voice feeling like ice as I ran away. I was, to put it simply, SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!! Which is rather unusual, since I usually don't get scared that easily, might I add. "Ooooh, man, I think I seriously fucked up this time around..." I muttered to myself, searching for a good hiding spot, not that there were any. I froze, swallowing hard as I realized that there were no students, even though it was barely lunch time. "What've I got myself into now?"I stammered worriedly, running to the empty cafeteria.

"Well well well, Hayate, seems like you've come to the end of the line..." I heard Twixy giggle behind me, the venomous tone seeming to sap my very strength. "Now then, Hayate, I'm SURE you know what happens next..." Twixy muttered.
