Just a random picture of Kara I drew today. Gonna color it and such later. FIrst drawing I actually liked, but please critique it, otherwise how'll I get better?Related content

You asked for it and I'll be gentle since this is your first real drawing critique from me. Well I can honestly see that you've given it your best and the results are very promising. Geometric shapes are a good base to use when constructing the skeleton of the person but you have to remember that the human body and by extension the neko body is an organic shape comprised of at least 4 or 7 different geometrical shapes which also includes the fingers. The head is actually an oval, egg shape that is not conveyed here.
Anyhow, for a first time you've done quite a good job.

Yeah, actually. I had to use nekochank's picture as a reference, since I have a problem just drawing straight from my head, but I drew it myself. (I was using my DS to get the reference at the time.)

I may not be able to comment your written work right now, but I can sure comment this. It is a pretty good drawing. I like it. It is a whole lot better than anything I could do.
