Description The chill bite of winter had yet to fully leave the secluded woods of eastern Celstia. Tree branches hung low, weighed down by several months worth of white powder. Here and there, green buds of freshly sprouted leaves dotted the branches, braving the treacherous temperatures to bring about tiny, minute flashes of green to the white countryside. Taking a slow breath, a neko crossed her arms, glancing up at her shoulder. She wore a pair of light leather pants, specially treated to resist both tearing and the rigors of travel. Thankfully it also helped to resist and repel the cold, as the neko wearing it was rather unused to the rigors of such a cold locale. "Phew, today really is a chilly one isn't it?" she wondered, a small gasp of frost lacing her words in the form of a cloud of steam. On her back she carried a weapon as long as she was tall, a revolver's chamber visible just below the cross guard. The blade was massive, black metal seeming to absorb all the warmth from the surrounding atmosphere and give nothing back.

"So, this is where that cult's been hiding?" she wondered rhetorically, the girl raising her head to slowly pull off an early bud from the tree. "Why am I not surprised that it's in such an out-of-the-way location?" she wondered rhetorically, shaking her head as she started to walk. Long black hair reached down to her hips, marked here and there by streaks of bright azure. A large purple bow adorned her hair, and her long black tail had another ribbon near the azure tip. Her lips curled up in a small grin, the girl sighing idly as she rubbed her head.

"Great, just great. So, I have to go in the middle of freakin nowhere and pull this kid out before she's sacrificed… any other details you aren't telling me goddess?" her ears lowered in faint irritation, tail fur ruffling in annoyance as she started down the barely noticeable dirt path. "Well, might as well get to it… I don't have much time if I remember right."

Snow crackled under foot as the neko dashed, blade stabbing into the earth at each and every step. She brushed past branches, snow falling to the ground with a faint squelch. She glanced to one side and ducked, pressing her back to the wall of a small barn as she glanced around the corner, shifting slightly.

In front of the door stood an elderly man; he had a scythe in hand, long enough to use as a farming implement. Or as a weapon, as he was apparently standing guard over his captor. She flicked her ears, jumping up to grab the edge of the roof and pulled herself over, sliding silently along the bed; her bare paws were soaked from her run through the snow, though the fur did a wonderful job of protecting her from the chill. She pressed her body against the roof, blending into the shadows of twilight as movement and chatter passed beneath her; from what she'd been told, the village was comprised primarily of humans. There had been one family comprised entirely of demi humans; two parents, an elder brother, and a younger girl. In recent times though, they seemed to have completely vanished. It was her job to find out why, and, if the situation demanded, rescue any survivors.

As the sound of footsteps faded into silence, she edged nearer to the side and peeked over. There was a single window,  complete with iron bars outside of the glass; it appeared to have been put in place not too long ago, and she shook her head silently. Peering through the silent sentinels, she spotted what appeared to be a young girl; dog ears were plain on the top of her head. The neko couldn't make out much in the way of details, but she did see that the girl appeared to be bound and gagged.

I think I came in the knick of time. If her current state is any indication, I'm afraid that her parents are beyond my help. She scooted back to the middle of the roof top, tapping her shoulders and chest before pressing her fingers to her lips. May you take them into your loving embrace, Dernya…

She looked over the side again, watching the man that was standing guard, and slowly stuck her legs out, hanging by her hands. It wasn't a terribly high drop; a mere fifteen feet, to be precise, but she figured that that would be enough to kill a man that was in his sixties. Or at least knock him out. She did want to avoid undue blood shed, after all.

The man, for his part, managed to glance up just in time to see a rump fall towards him. A very shapely rump. With a long tail sticking out above it. The poor man never had a chance to speak as the neko's butt fell on his face and drove him to the ground, scythe falling limp in his shock. She blushed deeply, feeling the guy's head wedged under her rump as she wriggled testingly; her soft but firm cheeks completely hid his head from view, the neko giving an involuntary mew as his inaudible yelling and cursing brought gouts of hot air to her behind. Her tail curled in involuntary joy as she leaned back, applying even more pressure. His hands scrabbled at her sizeable thighs, but soon enough those hands fell limp, unconscious from lack of air and the weight of the girl on top of him. She stood up slowly, making sure the man was completely unconscious before she sighed with relief and grabbed the key from his belt. She dragged him through the door with one hand, dumping him in a corner as she relocked the door. She ran through the wooden barn silently, ears tense to even the smallest sound of movement. Luckily, there didn't seem to be even a mouse as she ran through another door.

Faint muffled crying hit her ears, eliciting a soft sigh as she beheld the sight before her; a dog girl, hardly older then seven years old; a dirty blue T-shirt hung off her shoulders, and her shorts were not only dirty but torn in several places. A wool gag covered her mouth, blocking out the words she would be speaking as she whimpered, edging away from the much, much taller neko. Her heart seemed to melt as she stared into those eyes, and she walked over. Sitting on the bed next to the girl, the neko reached behind the girl's head and worked on loosening the gag. "Shshsh… it's ok, I'm here to get you out of here. I'm Kara, a Paladin of the Order of the Phoenix," she began, pausing. "If I undo this, you won't scream, right? I'm here to help…" she pointed out. She sighed, spotting the terrified look in the young girl's eyes and fixed the gag. "Never mind, you'd make too much noise.

She pursed her lips, shrugging as she knelt down on the floor and tugged the girl towards her. "Oh well, you'll be safer if I do this anyway," she decided. The girl looked confused at first, but then her eyes widened in shock as she saw Kara's mouth open wide. Impossibly wide. If it weren't for the gag, she would surely be screaming rather then just gasping for breath. She jerked her head back as she felt the girl's lips clamp around her knees, tongue lapping gently at her knees as the neko slurped her, slowly running her teeth along the soft flesh. The dog wasn't injured or cut, but she found the sensation of the almost horribly sharp fangs rather terrifying as she kicked her legs with new life.

Unfortunately, they were already in the girl's mouth, and more of her was being swallowed up as well. The neko's lips paused just before her neck. Kara reached one hand up, patting her head reassuringly before she slid the girl's head in slowly. She tilted her head back, taking one final gulp as she traced the path of her latest prey's head. It slid down her throat easily, settling into her slightly expanded stomach as she stood up. She covered her mouth with a burp, wincing a bit at the panicked, if limited, struggling inside her. "Calm down, everything'll be ok…" she cooed in a gentle tone, stroking her stomach.

Her captive probably realized that she didn't seem to be in too much danger right now and subsided, little more then nervous whimpers echoing. Kara forced a small smile, patting her stomach as she turned back to the door and exited the room. "Don't worry hun, you're safe…" she reiterated again.

She opened the door and walked out glancing from side to side. "Good, there's no one there…" she muttered. And then she was gone, running along the ground with all the speed she could muster. She glanced over her shoulder frequently, ensuring she wasn't followed; her target was small so her speed wasn't diminished over much, but she was still theoretically in danger until she'd put enough distance between her and the village. A branch snapped nearby and she stopped in her run completely, raising one hand to her weapon hilt as she glanced from side to side slowly. The darkness under the boughs of the tree seemed to gather ever more thickly, and she cursed the late hour.

lol, pretty much. XD Don't get mewrong, it IS possible for Kara to work with a dog girl. She'd just have to be real, frickin useful to not become a meal. XD Even this dog girl is only in that stomach for protection. Because that's Kara's mission.
