A tribute to one of my favorite obscure pieces of Mazinger Z trivia that truly epitomizes the idea that it is an Iron Castle in the most literal manner imaginable: The ZZ-8 Invincible Jumbo Castle. www.shogunwarriors.org/p/popy-…This massive beast essentially gave Japanese kids of the 70's a nice place to store their spare Jumbo Machinder weapons for whatever playtime adventure Great Mazinger or whatever Jumbo they had to do, while also looking so badass it comes off like overcompensation.
