Description
I was bored and wanted to try this out. Here were some rules I had to make for this timeline chart
The base continuity has to be from the TV version of Mazinger Z. All the major timelines branch off from that series, so each little color coded line branches off from the black base line.
Every series featured had to be directly and confirmed to be connected to each other in a certain order, So spin off anime like Robot Girls Z or foreign comic adaptations like the Goldorak comics don't count. Mazinger adjacent Toei series that don't have any weight on the base series like Getter Robo Go, Cutie Honey Flash and Uchu Enban Daisensou are also not included in the list. Video game crossovers like SRW are also not included as they aren't intended to be canon to begin with.
The TV Magazine manga make up the weird "Volume 5" of most Mazinger Z reprintings which wasn't even the proper volume 5 of the manga (that volume was Great Mazinger's "volume 1" for the longest time. These were short stories Go Nagai drawn on behest of TV Magazine in order to have art and stories that were closer to the tv version. TV only mecha like Diana A and Boss Borot frequently appear in it yet they also don't really fit in the tv series proper especially in the manga do not fit into the show very well (as it was being published around the time the anime was becoming more continuity heavy).
Neither the Great Mazinger nor Grendizer manga's are included as they technically don't fit well into the OG Shonen Jump Mazinger manga but do fit closer at home with the TV Magazine short stories. However, Japanese guide books consider those two manga's as apart of the Shonen Jump manga despite the continuity errors it creates, and rather than contradict established 'lore', I will not add my personal head canons to what is an objective list
Speaking of, all of the events listed have to absolutely be confirmed to flow into each other. No head canons are present here for obvious reasons.
While the 70's Devilman and Cutie Honey series are canon to the movies via Dynamic Heroes, and Steel Jeeg technically is also canon to the movies via the Grendizer vs Steel Jeeg crossover, neither story is canon to each other which is why the movie timeline after Grendizer, Getter Robo G and Great Mazinger: Kessen! Daikaiju splits; Since the movie adaptation of Grendizer vs Steel Jeeg was unproduced, Steel Jeeg was not included among the series featured in Dynamic Heroes (though it's possible certain elements of it were included in Dynamic Heroes).
With that out of the way I hope you Mazinger fans like what I did. Feel free to repost it elsewhere. It's my gift to you.
