It's like Super Sentai but with Robots and that is awesome straight from the geniuses who created Dancougar,Dorvack,Machine Robo Cronos and Go-Shogun a.k.a Macron-1..oh and Baldios too. So there are 38 episodes to this rather short anime of super robots and that is to be expected since 1977...wait a minute,the robot decrease hasn't even started yet that time. Masami Anno directed this anime and even though this anime wasn't good to many,he went on to direct cult classic robot animes like Ninja Robots/Tobikage and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs/Bismarck which is much of a step up for him. Oh and directed Legend of the Condor Hero which seems good to many. I checked ANN. What do you want from me?!! XD

So anyways,the Blocker Corps/Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster is basically Power Rangers/Super Sentai but with robots. You know Mazinger Z and then you know PR? Mash them together and you get this series. Piece of cake and it doesn't need any explanation other than that since the story of Astro Robot/Machine Blaster is relatively simple and barebones but the robots deserve to make an appearance in SRW and this series needs a remake since the concept is absolutely badass.

Robocles here is possibly the one that takes my interest the most since...look at him. He's a blue and white and red and yellow robot with horns,a Mega Dragonzord chest and red shades. RED SHADES!! How badass is that? Also,the color scheme does seem American and Gundam too since the...just see it,guys. Your eyes don't lie!! XD Just squint hard and you'll see Gundam colors in this guy.

I dunno what to do with this guy but after much practice with copic markers and seeing that introduced me to this robot,I felt this piece had potential and so,I colored this guy with Smiggle pens. Man,markers are badass I tell ya.
