Description
This is my newest attempt at a style. I'm going back to highly illustrated cartoonish style. Because I think it will look nice and be a good contrast to the deep and semi mature story. As I develop how I make this I will post a good tutorial video because I think more people should start using this method.Basically the image is of many vector shapes in Photoshop. Each shape is scalable from tiny to billboard size with 0 degradation of quality. It's easily altered. Each shape has a color or gradient in it that can be changed anytime separate from the lines.
Each shape can have any layer style or fx on it. In this I quickly threw on a drop shadow for some zaz.
Took roughly 20 minutes to make the initial character and 3-5 minutes to save/modify/re-save as a new pose. This is my first attempt at this so it would get quicker.
The cool thing is the reusability(big word) I can obviously reimport these into a new photoshop file and draw a quick background save and be fine. But that involves opening a menu. And I like making shit as easy as possible. When I make these as a vector shape I can then save them as a "custom shape" in photoshop and it's always loaded and placed as easily as drawing a circle, no import menu no hassle.

You need passion to stay working on something for so long.
