The Kirby Reanimated collab is now officially online! Go watch it here: youtu.be/U_JzkjbuQjUOver 300 artists came together to recreate an episode of "Kirby Right Back at Ya!" --Episode 49: Cartoon Buffoon, to be precise. Each scene is done by a different animator and is a ton of wacky fun~!
I cobbled together a digital animation made in Premiere using pre-drawn graphics made especially for this collaboration. It was Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival) when I started, so I took the theme and ran with it. My part was brief, but fulfilling~

This was a very good moment in Kirby reanimated, I memorized it! Didn't expect to see this as a full image! Man, you gave everyone such nice outfits, I don't even know which one is my favourite... I think I am gonna say Tuff, he is so cute with that bowtie ^^ But overall the artwork is great! Was it hard to come up with clothes for everyone?

Thanks a lot, good memory! I actually drew the image first, thinking it would be acceptable to just pan across, but then realized the aspect ratio was all wrong for video lol. I ended up chopping the pic up and laying the characters out sideways to better fit the animation
Anyhow, I sort of took inspiration for their outfits from the doll robes of Hina Matsuri, along with combining the look of the characters' normal outfits and inserting Samurai Kirby references wherever possible. Was not hard, I guess I have an eye for this kind of stuff ^^
