Description Parthenon, Acropolis under an amazing summer full moon.
This is a site you must see once in your lifetime

Most of Greece's archaeological sites were open last night (this happens every year) for the people, free ticket for everyone just to admire the august full moon which is consider the biggest of the year.
So many people visited those sacred places, I estimated at least 5.000 just for Acropolis, but they could be more.

Enjoy!!!

so the restoration is just a continuously ongoing process, eh?

I think the restoration will never end!
Acropolis suffered so much through the ages, its a miracle she's still standing..
but she is beautiful

..its my heritage you see..and Parthenon is standing there for 2000 years..hopefully it will still be there when you and me will be nothing but particles in the wind ...

yes, I see it is a personal and national heritage for you, but also one for the entire world, so don't go getting all greedy, o.k.?
and given the efforts at preservation it will still be standing when the dust of our dust has become dust.

you'd get bored after the first 1000 years.
besides, think if you had to have a job to support yourself the entire time, think I'd rather not.

maybe not if you were a vampire...

idk, I'd think there would still be "working class" vampires... you just never hear about them because only the wealthy and successful ones get their own novels, television shows and movie deals.

I think you got a point there
I believe though if there were a vampire who lived for 1000 yrs he/she probably would ve made a fortune, just imagine stealing money from all his/her dinner...lol

hmmm.... guess they all become successful over the long term, either that or staked in the heart or tricked into some situation involving sunlight/garlic/holy water, but then they weren't smart enough to get beyond that point in the first place.

yeah, and they all live in China... I had some guy from the People's Republic of China add me to his watch list a couple of days ago, but didn't give any faves... so I'm being WATCHED by somebody in communist China. I didn't think I was important enough to warrant a watch...

...unless they're trying to genetically engineer an army of alcohol-fueled super soldiers.

Its a global conspiracy, it evolves more countries than China...I cant speak further *watches around*
but you re right they need your genetic code...

The moon was brilliant and we kept waiting and waiting for it to rise behind the Parthenon, it was a magic moment, even though the site was so crowded with people and cameras
thank you sooo much for your comment
