From Kingdom Heart 2: Namine & RoxasColoured! ^^ And I'm completely lost when it comes to backgrounds.
I think the virtual Twlight Town is one gigantic bird cage, and Roxas didn't even know he was stuck there(at the beginning anyway). So if you did't realize you were being imprisoned, would you still yearn for freedom?
Finger-painting on a Touchpad just isn't the same as holding a pen. *sniff, sniff* I wanna a Tablet. But I've never used one before and I'm a little reluctant to throw in the money. Those things are freaking expensive. >.< So a question for those who have a Tablet, does it help a lot and is it worth it?

I have a tablet... It helps... A little bit... It takes a lot of practice to get used to the pen being so slippy though. I put a peice of paper over the screen when i draw for better traction

Beautiful! i absolutely love the symbolism here! I noticed that in KH:CoM, when they are showing you Namine's room, there is a little birdcage with a plush of her inside it. Creepy, huh? I bet she'd have had Roxas in there, given the option though! XDDD

and tablets are sooooo worth it. my friend lent me hers when i was sleeping ovee at her house...unfortunatly, i forgot to save the finished products.. well, fortunatly more like, they were a bit much.. i was doodling my character, kane and sax in a shower and wih all the shmexyness and stuff i didnt save, but this is wicked, i love it, tablets are worth it if they arent the ones that die every 2 minutes

Of course, yes, the tablet helps! A LOT.. especially if ur coloring hair.. with a tablet, u could draw hair strand by strand (and omg, ur really good in drawing hair lol)..
im using the wacom graphire 4^^.. yeah expensive but its reallllllyyyyy useful and totally worth it! X33

oooh, this looks really good! ummmm, i'm really NOT an expert at cg-ing ^^ but i think a tablet does help a lot, probably especially in your case because you're good at inking. i borrowed a friend's for a while and totally fell in love with it, so i'm getting one for myself soon, probably in a week or so, after finals. but while you're still stuck with a mouse/touchpad, you can try using the blur tool, like for the hair. that really helps me, cause it's an easy way to get shadows/highlights to blend in smoothly, and this way it won't leave a thick end.

i have a tablet and its wonderful! it takes a while to get use to it but after, its really great ^__^ the best part is i didn't have to buy it because my brother did
