Description

Continuing the Kaiju designs for the collaboration between me and Sideswipe217 . For Godzilla, we've given him what should have been his evolutionary route for Singular Point; more Godzilla-like and no resemblances to any other Kaiju. Special thanks to KaijuAlpha1point0 for the abilities.

Mikaela's log:

Of all the Kaiju that have appeared thus far, Godzilla is by far the strongest of them. The creature's name is derived from Odo Island folkore, known by the people there as "Gojira" meaning "God incarnate." Interestingly, artwork depicts this creature menacing Japan during the Edo period. Could this be proof of Serizawa's theory of dimensional distortions?

All of the Kaiju thus far have shown that they are capable of evolving, or rather adapting at a rapid rate. Godzilla, however, takes this to a literal means. First appearing as a colossal mosasaur-like form - which we dubbed Godzilla Aquatilis -he evolved into a more amphibious, four-legged form after coming ashore. This form was dubbed Godzilla Amphibia. He later evolved into a more powerful, terrestrial form, which we dubbed Godzilla Terrestris. Now, he has evolved into a form more closely resembling the art from Edo era Japan. This form we have dubbed Godzilla Ultima, as we believe it may very well be his final form. We can only hope pray so anyways...

As far as my dad and I can tell, Godzilla appears to be the top of the ecosystem, filling the niche of apex predator amongst the other Kaiju. A king and a god, for all intents and purposes. Initially only being reactive to military assaults in his earlier forms, since reaching his final form, he has shown to be frighteningly smart, highly reactive, and very aggressive. I still cannot say for certain whether or not Godzilla is the destroyer he's referred to in legends, or something more. One thing is certain, however: he truly feels like a god incarnate.
