Movie 17-18
Chapter 4-5

  As the GRF HQ building in Osaka goes under lockdown, the group splits up to find more information on the Cryog and what they are truly up to. Madison sneaks into her mother’s office and manages to get into her computer. She uses hacking skills taught by Hayes to peak into the Cryog database. What she finds is terrifying. As she looks on, she hears footsteps and Rhizon appears at the door.

Rhizon: You Earthlings like to poke around in others’ business a lot. Be careful, little girl. If you poke around too much, you’ll learn things you’re not supposed to.
Madison: You don’t fool me, Cryog. I just found out why you’re here. You’re not peacemakers at all, you’re invaders.
Rhizon: You know far too much, so you must be eliminated.
Mikaela: That was all I needed to hear.

  Rhizon turns to see Mikaela, Nicole, and the others surround them in the room, armed with guns. Mikaela points her gun at Rhizon.

Mikaela: Give me back my daughter, space monkey.
Rhizon: There’s no way you’re going to stop us! We will grind you under our heels!

  Rhizon pulls out an alien blaster, but Mikaela reacts quickly enough and blasts him in the shoulder, making him drop Madison, who runs to Mikaela and hugs her. Rhizon gets up, and he starts squirming like a fish out of water. Suddenly, more blood forms as he grows in size. The human form molts away, revealing Rhizon to be a hideous squid-like alien. The others are too shocked to react, but Jet Jaguar uses his tasers to stun the alien. Meanwhile, Karkaro, who is still in human form, is giving a speech to the public in hopes of calming down any unrest.

Karkaro: Now, I realize some of you do not trust us, but our intentions are peaceful. Our world died from lack of resources, so we came to find a new world to start over in.
Voice: Can it, Squidward.

  They all see Mikaela’s group arrive, with the captive Rhizon in his true form. The crowd starts panicking upon the sight of the alien being before them.

Alex: Don’t play innocent, Karkaro. This is what you really are.
Nicole: You better have a damn good explanation for this.
Rhizon: I did what I could, Master. Forgive me for my failure, it won’t happen again.
Karkaro: I know it won’t.

  Suddenly, Karkaro takes out a blaster and shoots Rhizon in the head, killing him instantly. The crowd panics even more, now seeing the Cryogs’ true colors. More Cryog around Karkaro start showing their true forms, and so does Karkaro himself, turning into a gigantic version of Rhizon.

Tim: Jesus Christ!
Karkaro: No more lies. I was hoping to prolong this just a little longer, but now that’s impossible. This is our world now, Earthlings.
Brenda: You lied to us. Everything you said wasn’t true.
Karkaro: Not everything, dear. Our world was like yours. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. When we faced extinction, we sought out to find a new world to start over. We will thrive here, but only with your extinction.
Kimberly: No, it’s not the only way!
Karkaro: Resistance is futile. Our intellect and technology are far superior to your own. And the Kaiju attacks across the globe were our doing. They are under our control. I have an army.
Mikaela: Yeah? Well, we have a Godzilla.

  At the harbor, Godzilla arrives, and he makes for the mothership hovering over the city. Almost as if in cowardice, Karkaro and the Cryog retreat back into the mothership. Mikaela and the others see Godzilla incoming.

Mikaela: I knew he would come. Let’s get out of here. I have a bad feeling about this.
Kyne: Get MOGUERA and Cyber-Zilla online and send them on the mothership.
Aoki: I’m trying, but I can’t.
Kyne: Why not?
Aoki: They’re… under Cryog control.

  In the mothership, the Cryog are preparing for a full-scale invasion. With their cover blown, Karkaro no longer sees the need for any caution.

Karkaro: I want the Earthlings to see their inferiority. Release all of the Kaiju, including our new weapons. Destroy their civilization completely!

  From the GRF base, MOGUERA and Cyber-Zilla erupt, now under complete Cryog control, their eyes a burning red as a sign. They move past Godzilla, splitting into different directions. Then, thousands of smaller fighter ships exit the mothership, with the transport ships breaking off. Godzilla manages to destroy several of the smaller ships with his atomic breath, but then one of the transport ships stops and beams something down before moving on. As the light fades, Godzilla sees a familiar foe standing before him: Gigan! But this time, his body is a dark blue instead of green and yellow, his sails are now red rather than orange, and his scythes have been replaced by twin chainsaws. He is now more machine than monster.

Dr. Spencer: Is that…
Mikaela: It’s Gigan. And he’s just got the mother of all upgrades!

  Howling, Gigan charges at Godzilla. The monster king tries to grab him, but Gigan jumps up and kicks him down on the head, then swings one of his chainsaws at him, slicing his back open. Blood erupts from the wound. He tries to catch Gigan, but the cyborg is now stronger, faster, and more ferocious than ever. Gigan fires his beam, which explodes on Godzilla. The atomic menace begins to tire, and the cyborg slashes Godzilla more and more, and then fires a blast to the face, which knocks Godzilla into the ocean. The king of the monsters retreats, leaving behind a trail of blood. Now unopposed, Gigan begins to wreak havoc on Osaka, aided by the Cryog invaders. He fires his beam at the GRF base, completely obliterating it and killing all who couldn’t get away in time.

  All around the world, the Kaiju are sent back to where they were initially in the first invasion. But this time, aided by the Cryog, they are more aggressive now. In Shanghai, Anguirus bulldozes the city, crushing everything in his path. He causes the weakened Oriental Pearl Tower to finally collapse. In London, Titanosaurus creates hurricane winds that wipe the city clean, along with all GRF forces trying to repel him. In Paris, Kamacuras has turned the city into his feeding grounds. After the Cryog soften the Éclair up, the mantis deals enough damage with his claws to bring the ship down, and he starts to tear it open, clutched on what remains of the Eiffel Tower. In Phoenix, Kumonga has finally caught the Halo, and she is now feeding on the crew inside. In Cairo, Megalon triggers powerful earthquakes that demolish the last of the ancient Egyptian landmarks. In New York, Kamoebas finally takes down the Rumbling, and he crushes it with his powerful jaws. In Moscow, Maguma manages to bring down the Karyu, and he melts the ship slowly with his intense body heat, the crew inside being cooked alive.

  The Cryog-controlled MOGUERA wreaks havoc in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. GRF units there are confused, as this is one of their own. But now the machine destroys them, and it unleashes a powerful cannon beam that wipes out the Christ the Redeemer statue. Meanwhile, the Cryog-controlled Cyber-Zilla attacks Sydney, Australia. It also takes advantage of the GRF’s confusion, destroying them with little fear of retaliation. Before long, the Kaiju and Cryog destroy many of the world’s cities. And with Godzilla gone, it seems there is no hope. Karkaro laughs wickedly, but is unaware that there is still hope for mankind. On Infant Island, Fairy Mothra and Garugaru get anxious, and the Elias sense the threat of the Cryog at maximum.

Lora: Godzilla has fallen. He has gone to heal.
Belvera: What do we do?
Moll: Our hope lies in the guardians who have not yet fallen. They must find Godzilla and heal him.

  The cocoon nearby glows intensely, giving a steady heartbeat. After a moment of silence, it explodes. The Elias smile as they see huge purple wings emerge. They lead to a giant creature that looks like a hybrid of Mothra and Battra. It gazes at them for a moment, and then it lifts into the air, letting out a metallic battle cry. Gigamoth has reached its adult form. Hope is rekindled.
