Ghidorah retreated, swearing revenge, while Gigamoth died, forever dividing into two separate Guardians: Mothra of Peace, and Battra of Vengeance.

Cameo appearance: Flashback in "Beginning of the End" shown fighting King Ghidorah and explaining the origins of Mothra and Battra.
