Description

Pterodactyl was going to appear in Godzilla 2014 but got scrapped in favor of the MUTO's. I stuck mostly to the original, but instead of teeth, he now has a pronged beak like Pelagornis. And his four wings have fused into two ginormous wings. Now he's a creature that rarely, if ever, touches the ground for more than an instant. UPDATE: Made him four-winged again; looking back, I figured my fusing idea looked a little ridiculous.

His roar will be the the Skewers from Alien Planet, mainly their sonar pings, if I can find a good part. Otherwise, it's the Infector from Dead Space.

A relic from the Atomic Era, PTERODACTYL is an aerial lifeform. Because of the way its wings are fused, it spends most of its life in the sky. It's vulnerable on the ground though, as it can barely walk, much less run. It and its rival, the Rokmutul, were both major prey for the Shinomura species. Pterodactyl has evolved agility to evade it and Godzilla's species. Fossil finds also showed that Pterodactyl was a major food source for another species from the same time. Not much is known about this flyer's predator, but prior to the GDF's days, it was simply known as a "massive unidentified terrestrial organism".
