Yeah, it might be as strong as he is, but i wonder if it's also as smart as him. Because hybrid or no, it's still just a Trilopod, and only knows how to use it's stolen powers. I'm pretty convinced that it doesn't have any other thoughts than to fight, and collect kaiju. So if he's in good condition, i have a feeling Spacegodzilla will think of a way to make this filthy little knockoff suffer in more ways than one.

Maybe the Trilopods are a hive-mind?

kahnac In reply to Daizua123 [2015-07-15 22:43:36 +0000 UTC]
Oh, i believe so, too. After all, if they have a queen that happens to be the most massive thing ever officially made in a Godzilla story, then i can imagine them being the equivalent of insects as well. I mean, they have a hive, so that could be quite right. So if anything, they probably just get a small bit of their hosts personality along with all of their powers. At least they don't get the whole mental deal, or i think everyone would've been screwed. It would've been the equivalent of the Avengers EMH "Secret Invasion" arc fpr kaiju.

The best way I envision the Trilopods is a combination of the Cybugs from Wreck It Ralph & the Xenomorphs from the Alien series

Oooh. Well that's a good way to think of them. And i think i can see how that works, too. So i definitely got n idea of how they really work. Though i still think Xenilla's smarter than his copycat, though.

And one i'm confident would've figured out an easier way to kill a hybrid of himself if: a) he wasn't taken by surprise, and probably weakened a bit, and b) if he had a direct understanding if what he was fighting, and took the time to strategize a means of killing it. Basically speaking, that is.

And i'm convinced that it's the only reason he was being beatne as badly as he was. With the addition of the Megaguirus hybrid who kept blindsiding him until it was killed. And funny thing: i noticed how the hybrids kept trying to keep Xenilla on his backfoot, like they were trying to keep him disoriented and easy enough to take down, along with Godzilla, of course. I have the feeling they recognized Xenilla as the possible bigger threat, and were trying to keep him disoriented so he couldn't fight back. Godzilla too, yes, but i think they recognized Xenilla as a bigger threat, and were focusing more on him than Godzilla. At least that's how i see it.

That did seem to be the case. And it would make sense since if we categorized kaiju by the Serizawa Scale from Pacific Rim SpaceGodzilla would be a Category 5 and Godzilla would be somewhere between a Category 3-4

kahnac In reply to Sideswipe217 [2015-07-16 05:55:10 +0000 UTC]
"Serizawa Scale"? Huh. Guess i'll have to look that up so that i know what exactly it is. But if what you said is accurete about him being catebory 5, then it just adds merit to my point. Especially since Xenilla is basically a planet killer kaiju, so of course he's immensely powerful. I mean, he was still standing after the fight with his hybrid. But then again, he didn't just exhaust himself by using all of his strength to destroy it, now did he? Almost forgot about how opportunistic he is.

Oh, yes.
And sorry for taking so long to respond. I went to bed after reading the blog post, and i was too tired to talk. But i can definitely say that i think this does help a bit. I might have to read it a few more times, but i think i got it. And i can definitely say that there's no denying that Spacegodzilla might indeed be a category 5, and is indeed one of the strongest kaiju around.

Indeed. I also know King Ghidorah & Destoroyah would be Category 5s too

kahnac In reply to Sideswipe217 [2015-07-16 20:13:42 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that's believable. I mean, these are beings who can basically wipe out a planet in their own span of time. So i think they also fit the bill. Same as Hedorah i hear. And probably monster x. But Xenilla is still the best one in my acount. Same as the grand king himself.

Sideswipe217 In reply to kahnac [2015-07-16 21:02:04 +0000 UTC]
X I'd say would be more of a Category 4. Kaiser Ghidorah would be Category 5

kahnac In reply to Sideswipe217 [2015-07-16 21:09:16 +0000 UTC]
Oh, right. Yes, i think you'd be right on that. I just forgot to consider Keizer since he's a transformation, and secondary form for X. So i think Category 5 would be a good way to summarise him.

kahnac In reply to Sideswipe217 [2015-07-16 23:20:32 +0000 UTC]
Ah, aha! I know! And that's a funny thing: in the most recent chapter of "The Bridge:Humanity's Stand", Pentecost is basically making a....list, or bio of the different category kaiju, and now that he, and the EDF are aware of his existence, and where he might have been buried long ago, he's been put in the list as Categoory 6, even if it's just as a theoretical category, and Bagan isn't completely mentioned since they don't know anything about him yet other than the fact he's the one controlling the faction that attacked the Shatterdome. But the way he's described is amazing as it makes a detailed accounts of the amount of destruction he caused, the possibility of him causing a super-volcanoe effect, and that he wiped out several powerful kaiju, in which it was noted that he could stand against several category 5 kaiju without breaking a sweat. And it's also funny that Bagan has been keeping tabs on earth since he left, and he's on to the Marshall's plan to wipe out the Mutant Invaders (the name i thought of for Mutants and aliens). And he also notes that if he should ever return, he may very well spell the doom of all Terra. Hopefully Zilla and Titanosaurus will be safe checking out what i assume is his tomb. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Oh, you HAVE read it? Well, that's really cool. Because the story has gotten interesting, too. Since i have a feeling the earth defenders and GDF are going to learn a bit more about Bagan aside from what they've learned from one of his disciples/minions. Still find it cool that he has others under his sway. And has probably been influencing the Mutant Invaders in some way or another since he awakened. Guess it's just another way to prove how he's the devil figure of tarbano Β verse.
