It's still temporary, and shuts down very often.

It's the tooltips, we'll try to fix them in the next version. Try to click more in the center of the button.

Error message:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to clouddesk.koding.com

This is also the case w/Chrome.

Nvm, its working now.

Bugs (in IE 10):
- The weather app should have an option to manually input your location/ZIP, as it is the location isn't even close to where I live.

- Toggle screen content feels a bit sluggish and glitchy, i.e. The button itself doesn't feel very responsive and sometimes doesn't work period. In addition, the border shadow around where the opened window was doesn't go away until you move something else around on the CloudDesk or flip to another tab in your browser and then come back to it.

Suggestions/Questions:
- Would it be possible to resize the opened "windows" in CloudDesk the way you resize other windows like internet explorer?

- Is it feasible to allow browsing of (simple) webpages using google search, i.e. www.weather.gov?

- (Nitpicky suggestion) It would be awesome if in the taskbar app icons fade in when being opened and fade out when being closed, which would add to the smooth feel of CloudDesk

- Some form of a background around the taskbar icons (like the one around the time/settings info) that can be enabled/disabled, which would be very handy if someone is using a background that makes the taskbar icons hard to see.

Besides that everything runs like a charm that I tried out.

Ok, lets start with the bugs. But, before that, I'm going to ask you a simple, straight-forward question: Why the hell do you use Internet Explorer?

OK.
The weather app is made with Geolocation. IE10 supports that, but it doesn't support CORS Requests (that error should show up). Also, the Geolocation is very accurate. It's what Google uses on it's maps. So it could be a problem with something else. Might depend on your country.

The toggle button sometimes doesn't work, because of the tooltips. The tooltips actually sometimes get in the way, and clicking on the button doesn't work. I have noticed that before, too. Try to click in the center of the button, but away from the tooltip. BTW, you could just double click on the title bar to toggle that window. Everything else about the togle button is because of stupid IE.

Suggestions:
Resizing the windows would be a bad idea. That's because most of the apps are composed of px, not %. If you use %, and the user creates an odd shape while resizing, the app will look funny.

Actually, we have a hidden app that lets you do that. We were going to release it, but ntim007 decided that it was useless if you were already in a browser to begin with.

That's not very hard to do, I'll take care of that.

Well, that's the UI. A taskbar won't look very good, in my opinion, of course. Yes, it would be easy to make that a setting, but it would ruin the look of CloudDesk. if you haven't noticed, CloudDesk is designed after Chromium OS.

So, I hope I answered all your questions and stuff. Besides that, GET A REAL BROWSER! Microsoft is behind in their browser. I was going to create a warning for all IE users that all apps won't work like they're supposed to, even though we're trying hard to make them.

I use IE 10 for most of my stuff b/c webpages usually run better in it. I do have chrome and Firefox but they are auxiliary programs in case something doesn't work with IE 10.

Bugs:
I'm in mainland USA, I think it has to do with using Verizon Wireless for internet, as I've had this problem with other weather apps too.

Ah, k.

Suggestions:
Hmm... Guess so

Useless, not really, b/c then you don't have to flip though tabs to get back to the desk. Not to mention it just looks better.

k

True, but IMHO functionality comes before personality. Pp need to be able to see their taskbar apps when the background looks like them.

Yea yea... I got Chrome and Firefox, guess I'll just have to start using one for this program.

B/c webpages usually run better on IE10? Are you kidding me?! Nothing works on and IE!

Anyways, I'm also in mainland USA, and I use home WiFi. By Verizon Wireless, do you mean 3G/4G/LTE/Whatever? Not home internet?

Maybe, just maybe, we might add a browser. But we have more important things to focus on right now.

We've added a color scheme changer, maybe that will change the color of the taskbar, too.

You might as well use Chrome or FF for everything, trust me. Unless all you do is like read stuff online, not use web apps.

4G/LTE yes, my best guess as to why the weather apps get mixed up is that it's b/c the signal travels through a bunch of towers all over the place, confusing the app.

Exactly. I'm going to try it on 4G on my iPhone to see if it gives the correct location. I use AT&T.
