Description
This is what i did for my homework in my Character Design classBut the teacher said my character designs were too complex for an animation and asked me to simplify it, so the one on the bottom is the one i simplified.
And the funny thing is, my teacher HATES "Squids" XD er is afraid of them or something, but i couldn't resist.
He was alot happier with the simplified design :> YAY

Left- Giant Squid, Middle- Vampire Squid, Right- Nautilus(sp?)

oh 0_o geez that sucks, well, i'm definately not gonna cancel it or anything...unless i'm dead, then i can't help you. But i don't do things like that. Besides that, it's a chance for people to improve their skills and put forth their best original characters.
I can understand after two contests tho that you'd be quite annoyed. Join if ya want, don't if ya don't wanna. It's all good.

you really didn't do much but ditch the cross hatching and make solid highlights nad shadows... my monkey character is better! : p

Got rid of the wrinkles in the clothes
Got rid of MOST of the details in the big guys arms
Made less random cuts on the sleeves
Got rid of the extra lines on the head
And yes you were right about "some" things.

Nais o3o I love the vampire squid. I just got a thing for bulky, big bad guy type of characters. I'm guessing it were mostly his muscles that yer teacher had a problem with eh? =/
