It's been so warm this year that I found a beetle in my back yard even though it's November. Same beetle as in the "Junebug Reflection" set.Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F14, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (1x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. Shot against a piece of green plexiglass to keep the background from being black.

In Italiano we call this wonderful scarab "Cetonia Aurata", I really like them. They looked scary when I was a child, but now I know how delicate they are. They spend all their life on plants and flowers and play dead when attacked. Unfortunately, where I live now I never saw them.
