Technique: This Miner bee could feel the heat coming off of my hand so it climbed on to warm up.Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F13, 1/60, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (about 2x) + a diffused MT-24EX (both flash heads on the Canon flash mount, E-TTL metering). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. Camera set to expose the natural light in the sky, and I used the flash to expose the subject.

I like the kontrast between the yellow pollen and the blue sky. Also how the bee is positioned in the picture, that she is completly on the picture and nothing is cut off.
But in my opinion the focus lie to much on the left side. That guide the sight out of the photo. So the left antenna is really sharp, but the right antenna is blurred, that I was wondering at the first look where the antenna is. There is also an black border in the right between your finger and the sky, which looks a little hard.
And I think the the kontrast of the dark blue of the sky and the bright finger is to intense. Because when the dark color is over the bright, the darker color press the brighter.

I think the blue and yellow go well together. The skin sets it off to look sort of like something in a healthbook, if that makes sense. The color balance may benefit with some experimenting. Love bees! <3
