Description
Had to prove that I can shoot more than just beesTech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F13, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 3x) + a diffused MT-24EX (-1/3 FEC and a 1/4 CTO gel) and a 320 EX (1/4 CTO gel) set to group C and slaved off of the MT-24EX to illuminate the background.

Well....I'm convinced! (although I never doubted that).
Beautiful portrait of a most fascinating creature.
BTW: living in the US now?

Incredible sharpness and texture.
And the insect really makes contact with the photographer/viewer.

It's a really nice shot,
but when it all comes together, it all seems a bit too brown.
I think I'd have tried to make the background a few shades lighter or darker to try & give it more separation of subject.
