I thought this was such an awesome concept, not only are they both incrediable powerful and fast but they both come from 2 entirely different worlds. When I saw this in 's gallery I had to colourize it.I'm rooting for Goku of course!!

I never would of thought of the idea about Goku And Superman duking it out, not to mention the fact they're both good guys, they both came to Earth on a little spaceships, they both were raised by humans and they have defended Earth for many years against bad guys, but still it's awesome with whoever it was that came up with the idea, Bravo Man, also this is an Awesome pic you made your own Mikemaluk.

also, Goku uses KI, which is basically the Japanese/Chinese equivalent to magic, after they laugh it off, goku would probably show him how to focus his chi lol, and teach him how to use the kamehamaha

The fact that a spiritual attack such as kamehameha can hurt a God is one thing.
The second is great power of Goku so superman has no chance because superman has only the power untill there is a sun or something..

Goku wins even if you say that big blue is on par when it comes to physical strength and endurance.Superman is a farmboy hick with super powers. Goku like superman is a freakishly powerful alien. Main dif Goku is a martial artist who's been training his entire life to do what? Fight! Superman is fast but in the same way Usain bolt is fast, Goku is fast in the same way Bruce lee was fast. So training gives Goku the advantage plus ki blast beat laser vision and ice breath. (this is a stupidly long comment on a moot point cuz they'd never fight they'd be great friends)

My friends and I have been going over this just as something to talk about for the last week. We went with friza saga Goku for the fight would be a brawl that would wreck the world. Cell Goku could overcome superman once he powered up all the way. We're not going to talk about Goku after that, but we did say Superman Prime would we stand up to Cell Goku on fantastic terms. Long story short in any case it would never be a short fight, and much stuff would be wrecked. Also Goku likes fighting way too much to end it in any of his versions, and a cut loose superman is scary, (almost anytime that guy runs in to Darkside.)

DBZ is the shit. Goku would murder superman and it can't be argued any other way, because superman has no "Other World" like Goku has, so even if he died in a planet explosion he gets a second chance to kick superman's ass. THIS PIECE IS REALLY NICE BTW.

Between the two, it depends on skill and versatility, not just raw power. You see, Superman is mostly muscle when it comes to strength. Granted that his heat vision is devastatingly powerful, and his ice breath is useful for restraining opponents, but his real power is in his super-strength, and super-speed (but the Flash is still the Fastest Man Alive, and at his fastest, he can punch with enough force to send a White Martian from Mount Rushmore to South Africa). Goku on the other hand, may not be as super-strong as Superman, but his most potent energy blasts are planet-busters (ie. the kamehameha). Not to mention that he is an expert martial artist, compared to Superman's straight-forward brawling.
All in all, depending on how one looks at it, Goku and Supes are equal matches for each other. However, I have read in other forums that Sinestro has beaten Supes easily while fatigued, and he had to rely on Kyle to save him. Noting that, and with Goku at what I call the Supreme Super Saiyan state (ie. Super Saiyan 3), Supes will have a lot of trouble defeating Goku, especially if he gets nailed by a Kamehameha. Saying that, I'd hate to see Supes' state of being if hit by the legendary Dragon Fist (although in the movie, it sounds like Dragon Fire).

My boss is a huge Superman fan and when I showed him a picture of Superman vs. Goku he has strong belief in his hero as do I.
However he did hesitate when I said Superman wouldn't stand a chance against Goku in Super Saiyan 3 let alone SSJ4.
Would be an interesting match.
